Sunline Super FC Sniper Fluorocarbon Line
4 in stock - Ready To Ship
Sunline Super FC Sniper Fluorocarbon Line is a versatile mainline for spinning and casting tackle. Sunline's triple-resin processing is designed to improve suppleness, reduce memory and provide abrasion resistance. Choose both pound test and spool length: this listing includes 200-, 165- and 660-yard options.
Choose your strength and spool length
- 200 yards: 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12 and 14 lb.
- 165 yards: 16, 20 and 25 lb.
- 660 yards: 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 20 lb.
For light-line and finesse presentations, start with a pound test that matches your rod, reel and hook. The 5–7 lb options are worth considering for drop-shot and shaky-head setups where cover permits lighter line. Heavier tests suit appropriately rated casting tackle and larger presentations. Check reel capacity as well as line strength before moving up a size.
A 660-yard spool can be useful when filling several reels or replacing mainline regularly. The number of fills depends on reel capacity, pound test and backing; spool length alone does not determine how many reels you can fill.

3 Tackle Express Tips
- Read both parts of the option label. A 16 lb filler spool contains 165 yards, while the 16 lb bulk option contains 660 yards.
- Control loose coils. Fill to the reel manufacturer's recommended level under even tension. On spinning tackle, close the bail by hand and take up slack before retrieving.
- Inspect before the next cast. Check the working end after contact with cover. Cut back past rough spots and retie rather than relying on abrasion resistance to compensate for damage.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use FC Sniper on spinning or casting reels?
Yes. Match the line strength and diameter to the reel's capacity and your rod's line rating.
Are all smaller spools 200 yards?
No. The 5–14 lb filler options listed here are 200 yards; the 16, 20 and 25 lb filler options are 165 yards.
When should I choose 660 yards?
Consider it when you use the same pound test on several reels or respool often. Check how much line each reel needs before ordering.
Does low memory mean the line cannot coil or twist?
No. Low-memory processing helps handling, but reel fill, spooling technique and lure rotation can still affect line management.
