Clear Choice Poppers

Clear Choice Poppers have become a staple in the saltwater scene in recent years and especially effective on tuna.  This durable popper throws a long distances and brings fish and tuna to the surface with its unique cup design.  The clear plastic on this lure makes fish less weary but the actions and silhouette is more than enough to entice a bite.  It comes in three sizes and all have line-through technology.

Clear Choice Ghost Popper 150:

A secret a few years back and our BEST SELLER, this 150 Clear Popper has been out producing 5 to 1 over every other surface lure out there. Now available and made better than the original that came and still comes with a rust promoting square "stamped" steel wire through. The GHOST 150 comes standard with 4 or 5x Origin hooks as well as a round stainless one piece wire through where you can crimp directly onto the front eyelet with 100lb or heavier line. Heavy Duty split rings also come standard. Tie it on with no worries, this 150 GHOST POPPER has caught tons of 200lb Bluefin with zero problems.

The largest of the GHOST POPPERS weighing in at 2.9oz and just under 7 inches. This Cow Catcher can be thrown on heavier set ups when the big boys are present and lighter gear is not the best choice. Casts great into the wind also, a must have in your CLEAR CHOICE arsenal!

The Halco Roosta Popper 135 is perfect for targeting game fish that are aggressively  attacking bait fish near or on the surface.  The hardware on these poppers is of the highest quality and will stand up to big fish like tuna, GT's, dorado, and peacock bass. They are best used with a heavy spinning rod and reel due to the higher inches of line retrieved per crank.  We prefer to have braided line with a short 3' top shot of monofilament or fluorocarbon.

While designed with a blooping style retrieve in mind, the Roosta Haymaker can be simply wound in at speed or trolled for excellent results.The recommended method of retrieval for best results is to point the rod tip at the lure, retrieve any slack line and firmly sweep the rod tip in a downward motion approximately 45 degrees. Allow the lure to rest for several seconds and if a fish hasn't taken the lure repeat as necessary.

The Clear Choice Tuna Propper 160 is the latest addition to the Clear Choice Lure collection. It comes with 5x hooks and HD hardware, so it can be used right away. Species such as Big Tuna, GT's, and Snappers will be irresistibly drawn to this lure. It can be deployed by simply casting it out, or it can be slowly trolled through clean water following the boat, something not doable with most cast-able topwater baits. The Ima Big Stick topwater lure is the result of years of development by the Japanese engineering team at Ima and professional angler, Randy Pringle.
