AFTCO Reaper Tactical Zip-Up Jacket Ink

Cold air feels different once the boat gets moving. The AFTCO Reaper Tactical Zip-Up Jacket in Ink combines a three-layer stretch ripstop softshell with warm Hexatron™ fleece lining for cool-weather fishing. The full-length zipper lets you adjust coverage as a chilly launch turns into an active day of casting, working a lure, or reaching for the net.

A built-in neck gaiter keeps extra coverage close at hand, while the hood, adjustable cuffs, and drawcord hem help you settle into a comfortable fit. The Ink color carries easily from the boat to everyday wear.

When a Sweatshirt Is Not Enough

Choose the Reaper when wind protection matters as much as warmth. Its windproof softshell and stretch construction make it a useful layer for exposed shorelines and boat rides without giving up freedom of movement. A DWR finish helps shed light moisture, but water repellency is not the same as waterproof storm protection. Pack dedicated rain gear for sustained rain.

The Right Pick for Cool, Breezy Trips

Wear it over a base layer for cool mornings, breezy afternoons, and fall or winter fishing. Use the front zipper to manage warmth during active casting, then close it before an exposed run across the water. In warm, still weather, a lighter performance shirt is a better choice.

Best for: bass fishing with jigs or moving baits, shoreline casting, inshore fishing, and cool-weather offshore trips. Its value is comfort across fishing styles, whether you are targeting freshwater bass or coastal species.
