Keep your fishing lures together from trip preparation to the post-trip rinse. The Jig Rig Lure Bucket lets you transport, access and clean lures in the same container, with a fully assembled setup that is ready to load. Choose the compact Mini for up to 20 short lures or the two-ring Small for up to 44 lures in two length groups.

Each model includes a bucket with lid, its Jig Rig ring system and an industrial ½-inch polyester rope handle. Instead of moving tackle between separate carrying and cleaning containers, you can keep your selection together and spend more time preparing the right lures for the next bite.

A Dedicated Place for Your Lure Selection

The Jig Rig design combines transportation, easy access and cleaning in one container. It is a practical choice when your tackle routine includes packing several jigs, switching lures during the day and rinsing them afterward. The advantage is a simpler workflow; the tradeoff is that you need to match lure length to the model and ring position rather than treating the bucket as unrestricted storage.

Buckets sold separately, no lures are included.

Mini or Small: Choose by Lure Length

Mini, 1 gallon: holds up to 20 individual lures up to 3½ inches long. Choose it for a focused selection of short lures when you want the smaller bucket size. It includes a white bucket with lid, one Jig Rig ring and ½-inch polyester rope.

Small, 2 gallons: holds up to 44 individual lures using two Jig Rig rings. The top accommodates 28 lures up to 8½ inches long; the bottom accommodates 16 lures up to 5 inches long. Choose it for longer jigs or a broader selection, while keeping shorter lures in the lower group.

Ready for Casting and Jigging Trips

Best for organizing lure selections used for casting, vertical jigging and yo-yo fishing, provided the lures fit the stated length limits. Whether you are packing for freshwater or saltwater, choose tackle for your target species and conditions, then select the bucket that accommodates it. This is a storage accessory, not a species-specific fishing tool.

For larger iron selections, compare the Salas 6X Jr Heavy Yo-Yo Iron Jig and Salas 6X Heavy Yo-Yo Iron Jig. Their listed body lengths exceed the Mini’s limit, so check the full rigged length when planning positions in the Small. The longer Salas PL-68 Heavy Yo-Yo Iron Jig also calls for the Small’s upper length group rather than the Mini.

A Rope Handle Made for Regular Handling

Both models use industrial ½-inch polyester rope with UV and abrasion resistance. Those qualities suit a handle exposed to sunlight and repeated use while carrying fishing tackle. Keep the setup dedicated to tackle transportation rather than lifting or safety applications.

Tackle Express Tips

  • Measure your lures with their attached hardware before packing. Put longer lures in the Small’s upper group and keep the lower group within its 5-inch limit.
  • After saltwater use, rinse lures with fresh water and allow them to dry thoroughly before closing the lid. Handle exposed hooks carefully during cleaning.
  • Pack by technique and conditions. While organizing your selection, inspect hooks and split rings so worn tackle does not make it into the next trip.

Questions Before You Pack

Do I need to assemble the bucket?
No. Both models come fully assembled with their bucket, lid, Jig Rig ring system and polyester rope.

What is the difference between Mini and Small?
The Mini uses a 1-gallon bucket and one ring for up to 20 lures up to 3½ inches long. The Small uses a 2-gallon bucket and two rings for up to 44 lures: 28 up to 8½ inches on top and 16 up to 5 inches on the bottom.

Can I clean lures in the same container?
Yes. The Jig Rig design allows transportation, easy access and cleaning in the same container. Let rinsed tackle dry thoroughly before putting it away.

Is the rope handle UV resistant?
The included ½-inch polyester rope is described by the manufacturer as UV and abrasion resistant.

Choose your Mini or Small Jig Rig at Tackle Express and build a storage setup around the lures you actually fish.
