How to use them

Apply to a clean, dry area of the lure, then test its behavior in water. The self-adhesive design is removable, and the flexible strips can be cut for smaller adjustments. Placement matters as well as total weight: adding weight nearer the nose can affect posture differently from placing it farther back.

Use them to experiment with crankbaits, jerkbaits, or hard swimbaits. Keep the lure's joints, hook hangers, and moving parts clear. You can concentrate additional weight by stacking pieces, but test one small change at a time. A strip can also be wrapped around a hook shank for a custom weighted setup; leave the point, barb, and eye unobstructed.
