Keitech Little Spider 2"

Keitech Little Spider 2" is a compact soft-plastic bait for finesse bass presentations on a jig head, drop shot, or small jig. Each pack contains 8 baits in your selected color. The PVC compound carries Keitech's strong squid scent and gives you a small-profile alternative when you want to downsize.

Features and rigging

• 2-inch profile: Fits compact finesse presentations.
• PVC compound: Keitech changed the earlier rubber material to PVC to support its color patterns and squid scent.
• Several rigging options: Keitech recommends Fine Guard and Mono Guard jig heads for this size, a Mono Spin Jig trailer presentation, and drop-shot use.

For a jig-head setup, compare the Keitech Tungsten Fine Guard Jig Head. Choose a head weight for your depth and drift, and check the hook's fit against the bait before threading it on.

3 Tackle Express Tips

1. Rig the body straight. Lay the hook alongside the bait to plan the exit point before threading it. Recheck after a fish or a snag pulls the plastic out of position.
2. Start with small movements. Try a short lift or gentle shake followed by a pause. Change one part of your cadence at a time to see what draws a response.
3. Match weight to control. Begin with a light jig head or drop-shot weight that lets you track the presentation. Increase weight if wind or current prevents you from keeping it where you intend.
