I notice less resistance. It really does cut through water and gets down faster. 8 strand equal very smooth line. I highly recommend

J-braid

I love the J-Braid Grand. Needed to fill a new reel and wanted to test a new color. My eyes aren’t great and I need a color I can see. I’m still testing the color chartreuse.
