Avet Reel Clamp Kits

Avet Reel Clamp Kits are precision-machined from the same 6061-T6 aircraft-grade billet aluminum as Avet reels themselves, providing a strong, corrosion-resistant connection between your reel and rod. Available in three kit types across three reel size classes, with colored clamp kits offered in multiple anodized finishes to match your reel.

Important: These clamp kits do NOT fit SXJ Raptor or HXJ reels. All other clamps fit Raptor and G2 series reels. HX clamp kits cover the full HX series including HXJ and HXW. Colors may vary and photos may not represent color accurately.

Best For

Offshore trolling, stand-up big-game fishing, conventional reel setups, saltwater bottom fishing, and anglers looking to replace or color-match clamp hardware on their Avet SX, MXJ, MXL, JX, LX, HX, or EX series reels. 

Tackle Express Tips:

• If you're fishing a deckhand rod, you must have a clamp since there is not reel seat.  The Duran's Clamp will hold the reel better than the standard Avet Clamp.
• Put a little grease on the threads to make sure it seats into the reel tightly and reduces corosion.
• If you lost the screws, we also sell just the screws so you don't have to buy the entire clamp kit.
• The EX Clamp Kit also fits the JX, HX, and HXW reels but has an added hole to the side of the clamp.  This is originally used for a trolling strap but can be used to secure your hook or lure while not fishing.

Kit Types

• Screw Set — Replacement screws only. Fits SX, MXJ, MXL reels.
• Stud and Nut Set — Replacement studs and nuts only. Fits JX, LX, HX or EX reels (select correct size).
• Colored Clamp Kit — Full clamp with hook/jig holder (no screws or tools included). Available in multiple anodized colors. 1 kit per bag.
