The Mustad Heavy Duty Jigging Assist Rig is designed for heavy jigging. Featuring a heavy-duty wide gap Mustad hook rigged with high quality PE and Kevlar materials. 

The assist hook is connected to the top end of the slim jigging lure to improve hookset, as the fish often strikes at the top end. Another benefit is less snags because of the absence of the traditional tail treble. The assist hook is dressed in white tinsel to attract attention, creating a striking point.

Built on the 32824NP-BN 2x strong hook, the Mustad Big Eye Bucktail Jig features two line tie positions to give the angler options.

The nose tie allows the angler to cast and retrieve the jig, mimicking a swimming action. The top tie allows the angler to employ a more traditional jigging retrieve. But don't think there are only two uses for these jigs, clever anglers are already fitting them out for trolling dead baits for mackerel and more.

Featuring oversized 3D Eyes, the Big Eye Bucktail Jig has hand tied deer hair and Crystal Flash to give the jigs an appearance of life while being used. There is also a keeper wire located near the lead head that allows soft plastic trailers to be fitted, as well as baits.

Mustad Beak Hooks Model 92677-BR are a short shank live bait hook perfect for anchovies, sardines, mackerel, and strips of squid.  Theses hooks are 3X strong and have an offset shank and a beaked point.  

This beak style hook makes it more difficult for the fish to throw a hook and often sets in the mouth rather than in the gut.  We find it between a circle hook and a regular live bait hook.
