Avet SX Reels

Ultra-Compact G2 Performance for Saltwater Versatility

The Avet G2 SX Series Lever Drag Fishing Reels deliver serious reel performance in an ultra-compact, lightweight package. Precision-machined 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, stainless steel components, sealed bearings, a corrosion-resistant anodized finish, and Avet's enhanced G2 design give these reels the strength and reliability to handle long days on the water.

The SX lineup is built for anglers who want comfortable palmability without giving up lever-drag control. Choose from the listed 5.3 MC G2 single-speed right- or left-hand models, or the SX 6/4 G2 2-speed model when you want more retrieve flexibility. Every reel is manufactured in the USA.

Big Capability in a Small Package

Heavy tackle can become tiring when you are casting, jigging, or fishing all day. The G2 SX keeps the profile and weight down so the reel stays comfortable in hand, while the machined frame and lever drag provide the control needed when a fish pushes back. It is a practical choice for anglers who want one compact reel platform that can move between coastal, inshore, and offshore applications.

Choose the Retrieve That Fits Your Fishing

The listed 5.3 MC G2 models give you a straightforward single-speed setup with a right- or left-hand retrieve. The SX 6/4 G2 model adds a 2-speed configuration for anglers who want the option to change retrieve behavior during the fight. Check the model table below before ordering so the retrieve and speed match your setup.

The Right Pick If...

• You want an ultra-compact conventional reel that stays comfortable during long fishing sessions.
• You fish for yellowtail, white seabass, tuna, dorado, wahoo, rockfish, lingcod, or other gamefish.

• You prefer a single-speed setup or want the listed SX 6/4 G2 2-speed option.
• You need a right-hand model or the listed left-hand 5.3 Silver model.
