Gamakatsu Round Bend Treble Tin Hooks

Gamakatsu Round Bend Treble Tin Hooks are replacement treble hooks for hard baits that use a compatible hook size. This tin-finish version is offered here in sizes 1, 1/0 and 2/0, with pack quantities that vary by size. Use the chart below to match the model to your lure before ordering.

Features and specifications

• Round-bend treble design: three hook points for hard-bait replacement applications.
• Finish: tin.
• Size 1: 7 hooks per pack; model 47010.
• Size 1/0: 6 hooks per pack; model 47011.
• Size 2/0: 5 hooks per pack; model 47012.

Choosing a replacement treble

Start with the lure manufacturer's recommended hook size. If that information is unavailable, compare the original hook's overall dimensions, gap and weight with the replacement. Hook size numbers alone do not establish an exact match across different hook styles.

Check that the replacement swings freely on the split ring and does not catch the lure body or the other hook. Changing hook size or weight can affect a lure's action, buoyancy and balance, so test it beside the boat or bank before fishing.

3 Tackle Express Tips

1. Keep a reference hook. Remove one original treble at a time so you can compare the replacement before changing the rest.
2. Inspect the connection. Use split-ring pliers and replace a distorted or corroded split ring rather than attaching a new hook to damaged hardware.
3. Check after each trip. Rinse hooks exposed to saltwater with fresh water and let them dry before storage. Replace hooks with damaged points, bends or visible corrosion.

Frequently asked questions

Which model number should I choose?

47010 is size 1, 47011 is size 1/0, and 47012 is size 2/0. Choose by the hook size your lure requires.

How many hooks are included?

Size 1 contains 7 hooks, size 1/0 contains 6, and size 2/0 contains 5.

Is size 1 larger than size 1/0?

No. Within this range, size 1 is the smallest, followed by 1/0 and then 2/0.

Will these fit every crankbait or hard bait?

No. Match the lure's hook requirements and check hardware clearance. Larger or heavier replacement hooks can change how the lure swims or suspends.

Does the tin finish make these rustproof?

Do not treat the finish as a rustproof guarantee. Rinse, dry and inspect hooks regularly, especially after saltwater use.
