AFTCO Crossing Camo Jacket Black Current Camo

Wet boat runs and changing forecasts call for more than a casual windbreaker. The AFTCO Crossing Camo Jacket in Black Current Camo combines a 10K waterproof / 5K breathable TPU membrane, taped seams and a water-repellent finish to help you stay comfortable when rain and spray interrupt the day. A mesh liner and underarm venting help manage heat as you move from the ride out to casting and working around the boat.

Keep Fishing When the Weather Turns

Wind resistance, a self-locking hood cinch and an adjustable hem let you fine-tune coverage for exposed runs and breezy banks. Waterproof center-front and hand-pocket zippers add protection at common entry points, while brushed-tricot pocket linings provide a comfortable place to warm your hands between casts. Keep sensitive electronics in a separate waterproof case rather than relying on a jacket pocket alone.

The Right Pick If...

You want a packable fishing rain layer for uncertain weather, boat spray and windy mornings. Its breathable construction and vents are useful when activity levels change throughout the day. For cold outings, plan your warmth with layers underneath rather than treating rain protection as a substitute for insulation.

Best for: freshwater bass casting, inshore fishing, offshore runs, trolling and bank fishing in rain, spray or wind. Choose it for weather protection, not for a species-specific advantage.

Tackle Express Tips

• Adjust the hood and hem before a wet run so you are not reaching for cords while underway.
• Use underarm venting to manage heat when conditions allow; reduce vent openings when rain or spray increases.
• Let the jacket dry fully before long-term storage, and follow its care label to maintain the fabric and finish.

Questions Before Your Next Trip

What is the difference between the membrane and DWR?
The TPU membrane provides the jacket's rated waterproof and breathable barrier. The DWR finish helps water bead on the outer fabric; taped seams help protect stitched areas.

Can I use it for both freshwater and saltwater fishing?
Yes. Its rain and wind protection is useful for boat runs, casting sessions and exposed banks in either setting. Follow the garment's care instructions after use.

Does it pack away for travel?
Yes. A mesh stuff sack is included so you can stow the jacket when conditions improve. Dry it before storing it for an extended period.
