Accu-Cull

The Accu-Cull Clip-On Culling Tag Kit is a tournament-grade culling system built around a no-damage clip design that attaches to the fish without harming it — the clip-on mechanism secures the tag without puncturing or tearing, keeping your tournament fish in the best possible condition through the weigh-in. The high-strength polymer clips are engineered to hold securely under normal tournament conditions while remaining easy to attach and remove quickly at the livewell. Includes 7 floating tags that stay visible and tangle-free in the livewell, an adhesive mounting bracket for clean boat installation, and a hanging strap that attaches anywhere with a screw or velcro for organized, accessible storage.

Key Features

• No-Damage Clip-On Design — The defining advantage of the Accu-Cull Clip-On system; the clip attaches to the fish’s lip or jaw without puncturing or tearing, keeping tournament fish in the best possible condition through the weigh-in; no-damage culling is critical for fish health and for maintaining the quality of your livewell fish during long tournament days.
• High-Strength Polymer Clips — Clips are molded from a high-strength polymer that holds securely under normal tournament conditions; engineered to resist the stress of active fish in the livewell without releasing or breaking; lightweight and corrosion-resistant for long-term use in freshwater livewell environments.
• 7 Floating Tags — No Tangles — Includes 7 color-coded floating tags that stay visible and accessible in the livewell; floating design keeps tags at the surface for easy identification and quick culling decisions; no-tangle design prevents tags from wrapping around each other or around fish in the livewell during transport.
• Adhesive Mounting Bracket — Includes a mounting bracket with adhesive backing for clean, permanent installation on the boat dash, livewell lid, or any flat surface; keeps the culling system organized and within reach during tournament fishing without drilling or permanent modification to the boat.
• Hanging Strap — Screw or Velcro Attachment — Includes a hanging strap that attaches anywhere on the boat with a screw or velcro for flexible, organized storage; keeps the culling system accessible and prevents tags from being misplaced between tournaments.

Best For

• Tournament Bass Fishing — The Accu-Cull Clip-On is purpose-built for tournament bass fishing where quick, accurate culling decisions and fish health are both critical; the no-damage clip design and 7 floating tags provide the speed and organization needed to cull efficiently during a tournament day without stressing fish unnecessarily.
• Livewell Organization — 7 color-coded floating tags and no-tangle design keep the livewell organized during transport; quick visual identification of each fish’s tag color allows for fast culling decisions when a new fish is caught without sorting through tangled tags.
• Fish Health & Conservation — No-damage clip-on design minimizes stress and physical damage to tournament fish compared to pin-style culling systems; healthier fish at the weigh-in means better survival rates after release — important for tournament anglers who prioritize fish conservation alongside competitive performance.

3 Tackle Express Tips

1. Prepare before weighing. Install batteries, select your unit, and let the display return to zero before attaching a fish. Follow the included instructions for using the grip.
2. Keep the reading steady. Minimize movement while weighing and confirm the hold reading before recording it. If a reading looks questionable, reset and repeat.
3. Keep units consistent. Record pounds as decimals when using the pound display. For example, 3.50 lb is three and a half pounds, not three pounds and fifty ounces.

Frequently asked questions

Is this scale waterproof?

This model is listed as water resistant. Keep it out of the water and dry it before storage.

Are batteries included?

No. Have two AAA batteries ready before your trip.

What is the maximum capacity?

The listed capacity is 55 pounds or 25 kilograms. Do not exceed it.

What does a hundredth-of-a-pound display mean?

It shows pound readings in increments of 0.01 lb. Display resolution alone should not be treated as a promise that every field measurement is accurate to that amount.

Does it also measure length?

Yes. A tape is built into the scale. Accu-Cull lists it as 38 inches / 1 meter; those are the manufacturer's nominal specifications, not an exact unit conversion.
