Saltwater Electric Fishing Reels

The Daiwa Seaborg G300J-DH Electric Reel is Daiwa's compact, palmable deep-water powerhouse — engineered for serious deep dropping and jigging at depths exceeding 1,000 feet. The MagMax G motor delivers the sustained power needed to bring up large deep-water species from extreme depths without fatigue, while the ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) system provides up to 35 lbs of ultra-smooth, fade-free drag pressure for confident hooksets and sustained fights.

The JOG Power Lever gives you complete, one-finger variable speed and power control without ever taking your hand off the rod — critical when managing a deep drop bite at depth. MagSeal bearing technology locks out saltwater intrusion at the bearing level for lasting smooth performance in harsh offshore environments. The Swept Handle moves the paddles closer to the rod's centerline, reducing wobble and wasted energy for a more powerful, efficient retrieve.

Key Features

• MagMax G Motor — High-torque electric motor delivers sustained power for retrieving large deep-water species from depths exceeding 1,000 feet without angler fatigue.
• ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) — Improved drag grease with low viscosity at rest that becomes more viscous immediately after drag startup; reduces initial inertia for a smoother drag from the first moment of hookup.
• JOG Power Lever — One-finger operation for instant, variable speed and power adjustment without removing your hand from the rod; critical for managing deep drop bites and controlling retrieve speed.
• MagSeal Bearing — Magnetic oil seal at the bearing level locks out saltwater, sand, and debris for lasting smooth performance in harsh offshore environments.
• Swept Handle — Daiwa's exclusive swept handle design moves the paddles closer to the rod's centerline, reducing wobble and wasted energy for a more powerful, efficient manual retrieve.
• 18 Ball Bearings (1 MBB + 17 BB) — Premium bearing count for ultra-smooth operation across both electric and manual retrieve modes.
• 6.0:1 Gear Ratio — 32.7" per crank for efficient line recovery on deep drops and vertical jigging applications.
• Compact Palmable Design — Despite its power, the G300J-DH is sized for comfortable one-handed operation during extended deep-water sessions.
