Wet boat runs and changing forecasts call for more than a casual windbreaker. The AFTCO Crossing Camo Jacket in Black Current Camo combines a 10K waterproof / 5K breathable TPU membrane, taped seams and a water-repellent finish to help you stay comfortable when rain and spray interrupt the day. A mesh liner and underarm venting help manage heat as you move from the ride out to casting and working around the boat.

Keep Fishing When the Weather Turns

Wind resistance, a self-locking hood cinch and an adjustable hem let you fine-tune coverage for exposed runs and breezy banks. Waterproof center-front and hand-pocket zippers add protection at common entry points, while brushed-tricot pocket linings provide a comfortable place to warm your hands between casts. Keep sensitive electronics in a separate waterproof case rather than relying on a jacket pocket alone.

The Right Pick If...

You want a packable fishing rain layer for uncertain weather, boat spray and windy mornings. Its breathable construction and vents are useful when activity levels change throughout the day. For cold outings, plan your warmth with layers underneath rather than treating rain protection as a substitute for insulation.

Best for: freshwater bass casting, inshore fishing, offshore runs, trolling and bank fishing in rain, spray or wind. Choose it for weather protection, not for a species-specific advantage.

Details That Make Wet Days Easier

• 100% polyester shell with a 10K/5K TPU membrane.
• DWR water-repellent finish and wind-resistant construction.
• Taped seams and waterproof center-front zipper.
• Waterproof zippered hand pockets with 100% polyester brushed-tricot lining.
• 100% polyester mesh liner and breathable underarm venting.
• Self-locking hood cinch cord and adjustable hem.
• Screenprinted logos and included mesh stuff sack.

One Jacket, Six Size Choices

Select your size above. Leave room for the layers you expect to wear and check that you can comfortably reach forward and cast.

Build a Weather-Ready Setup

Pair your rain layer with AFTCO Ankle Deck Fishing Boots for your on-deck setup. An AFTCO Ocean Bound Hooded Performance Shirt is a useful layer for changing conditions, while the AFTCO Expedition Fishing Duffle Bag gives you a dedicated place to organize spare clothing and separate wet gear after the trip.

Tackle Express Tips

• Adjust the hood and hem before a wet run so you are not reaching for cords while underway.
• Use underarm venting to manage heat when conditions allow; reduce vent openings when rain or spray increases.
• Let the jacket dry fully before long-term storage, and follow its care label to maintain the fabric and finish.

Questions Before Your Next Trip

What is the difference between the membrane and DWR?
The TPU membrane provides the jacket's rated waterproof and breathable barrier. The DWR finish helps water bead on the outer fabric; taped seams help protect stitched areas.

Can I use it for both freshwater and saltwater fishing?
Yes. Its rain and wind protection is useful for boat runs, casting sessions and exposed banks in either setting. Follow the garment's care instructions after use.

Does it pack away for travel?
Yes. A mesh stuff sack is included so you can stow the jacket when conditions improve. Dry it before storing it for an extended period.

Which color is this listing?
This listing is Black Current Camo, with Small, Medium, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL size options.

Choose your size and keep a dedicated rain layer ready for your next fishing trip with Tackle Express.

Aftco Reaper Tactical Zip Up Jacket is now available in tactical digital camo such as Charcoal Acid Camo for the fisherman that are looking for an extra layer of stealth. Angler's can use this fishing jacket as well as an extra layer when casting in cold weather and need an extra layer to stay warm.  Made with Hexatron™ tricot backing and a 90% polyester, 10% Spandex 3L rip stop stretch coated with DWR for rainy conditions.  Wind or rain, this gear will have you comfortable in foul weather conditions.

Rain on the forecast doesn't have to decide your fishing plans. The AFTCO Hydro Waterproof Bib gives anglers a waterproof bib option for wet-weather outings, whether you're casting for bass on a rainy lake or fishing from a saltwater boat. Add it to your fishing layers when ordinary pants aren't the right choice for the conditions.

Make Wet Weather Part of the Plan

Choose the Hydro when you want bib-style coverage for a day around rain and spray. Pair it with a suitable rain jacket and fishing footwear to put together a wet-weather outfit, rather than relying on a jacket alone. For dry, warm-weather trips, lighter fishing pants or shorts may be the more practical choice.

Ready for the Way You Fish

Best for: wet-weather bass casting, coastal fishing, offshore trolling, bottom fishing, and boat trips where rain or spray is expected. Pick your layers for the temperature and check that you can comfortably sit, step, and cast before heading out. These bibs are fishing apparel, not waders or flotation equipment.

A Simple Addition to Your Rain Gear

• Waterproof fishing bib from AFTCO's Hydro lineup.
• Bib-style alternative to regular fishing pants for wet conditions.
• Listed sizes: Medium, Large, XL, and 2XL.
• Wear as part of a complete fishing outfit with appropriate jacket, footwear, and layers.

Find Your Size

Select your size from the product options. When choosing a fit, account for the clothing you intend to wear underneath, and use AFTCO's sizing guidance rather than assuming your usual pant size is the right match.

Tackle Express Tips

• Try your bib on over your planned fishing layers and check your range of motion while seated and standing.
• Build the whole wet-weather outfit: a bib doesn't replace a rain jacket or appropriate footwear.
• Follow the garment's care label and let it dry before storing it between trips.

Before You Head Out

Can I use the Hydro for freshwater and saltwater fishing?
Yes. A waterproof fishing bib is a useful clothing option for wet-weather outings on lakes, along the coast, and aboard saltwater boats. Choose the rest of your outfit for the conditions.

Which sizes does Tackle Express list?
This listing includes Medium, Large, XL, and 2XL. Select a size above to check its current availability.

Can I use these bibs as waders?
No. Choose purpose-built waders for entering the water. Fishing bibs are not a substitute for waders or a personal flotation device.

Finish Your Wet-Weather Setup

Pair your bib with AFTCO Ankle Deck Fishing Boots for a coordinated boat-fishing outfit. For your hands, consider AFTCO Break Water Waterproof Gloves when putting together your wet-weather gear.

Early starts, cloudy afternoons and the ride back to the dock are good reasons to keep a fishing sweatshirt close by. The AFTCO Overcast Hooded Sweatshirt pairs a clean pullover design with an adjustable hood and hem, a front pouch and a separate zippered pocket. It is an easy layer to bring along for freshwater sessions, saltwater trips and everyday wear between outings.

More Useful Than a Basic Pullover

A hood that needs adjusting and small essentials loose in an open pocket can become distractions on the water. The Overcast gives you cord adjustments at the hood and lower hem so you can fine-tune coverage, plus zippered storage beside the front pouch. Keep small items organized without turning your sweatshirt into a tackle bag.

The Right Pick for Cooler Starts

Choose it when you want a hooded layer for cool, dry mornings, overcast days and relaxed time on the boat or bank. The pullover layout keeps the front simple, while the adjustable details give you more control than a basic hoodie. If frequent layer changes are your priority, a full-zip jacket may be more convenient. Pack a dedicated rain shell when wet weather is in the forecast.

Best for: bass casting from a boat or bank, inshore sessions, offshore trolling trips, dockside prep and everyday fishing apparel. Choose this layer for the conditions and your comfort, not for a species-specific advantage.

Details You Will Use on the Water

• Hooded pullover design with long sleeves.
• Adjustable hood cords for a personalized opening.
• Adjustable lower hem to fine-tune coverage.
• Front pouch for convenient access between casts.
• Separate zippered pocket for small essentials.
• Understated AFTCO branding and a choice of Steel or Black.

One Sweatshirt, Two Color Choices

Select your color and size above. Steel offers a gray-toned look, while Black is a simple choice for pairing with the rest of your fishing wardrobe.

Layer for the Day Ahead

Wear it over your usual base layer for casting, trolling or time at the dock. Check that you can reach forward and move through a casting motion comfortably with your intended layers underneath. For a separate wet-weather layer, consider the AFTCO Crossing Camo Jacket. Complete your boat-day outfit with AFTCO Ankle Deck Fishing Boots.

Tackle Express Tips

• Set the hood and hem before you start fishing, and keep loose cords clear of reels and other equipment.
• Zip small essentials away before a boat run. Keep electronics in a separate protective case rather than relying on a garment pocket for water protection.
• Follow the garment care label and let the sweatshirt dry fully before storing it in your gear bag.

Questions Before Your Next Trip

Which colors and sizes are offered?
Steel and Black are listed in Medium, Large, Extra large and XXL. Select a variant above to check current availability.

No. The Overcast is a pullover sweatshirt; the visible zipper is on its storage pocket.

Can I adjust the hood and hem?
Yes. Both have cord adjustments so you can fine-tune the opening and lower edge.

Is it only for saltwater fishing?
No. It is a practical apparel choice for freshwater outings, saltwater trips and casual wear. Match your layers to the day's forecast.

Wet boat runs and changing forecasts call for more than a casual windbreaker. Cold air feels different once the boat gets moving. The AFTCO Reaper Tactical Zip-Up Jacket in Ink combines a three-layer stretch ripstop softshell with warm Hexatron™ fleece lining for cool-weather fishing. The full-length zipper lets you adjust coverage as a chilly launch turns into an active day of casting, working a lure, or reaching for the net.

A built-in neck gaiter keeps extra coverage close at hand, while the hood, adjustable cuffs, and drawcord hem help you settle into a comfortable fit. The Ink color carries easily from the boat to everyday wear.

When a Sweatshirt Is Not Enough

Choose the Reaper when wind protection matters as much as warmth. Its windproof softshell and stretch construction make it a useful layer for exposed shorelines and boat rides without giving up freedom of movement. A DWR finish helps shed light moisture, but water repellency is not the same as waterproof storm protection. Pack dedicated rain gear for sustained rain.

The Right Pick for Cool, Breezy Trips

Wear it over a base layer for cool mornings, breezy afternoons, and fall or winter fishing. Use the front zipper to manage warmth during active casting, then close it before an exposed run across the water. In warm, still weather, a lighter performance shirt is a better choice.

Best for: bass fishing with jigs or moving baits, shoreline casting, inshore fishing, and cool-weather offshore trips. Its value is comfort across fishing styles, whether you are targeting freshwater bass or coastal species.

Details That Earn Their Place on the Boat

• Three-layer stretch ripstop softshell: wind protection with room to move through repeated casts.
• Hexatron™ fleece lining: warmth for cooler days.
• Integrated neck gaiter and hood: convenient extra coverage without a separate loose accessory.
• Full zip-up front: easy layering and temperature adjustments.
• DWR water-repellent finish: helps shed light moisture.
• Zippered hand and chest pockets: keep small essentials contained.
• Adjustable cuffs and drawcord hem: let you fine-tune coverage and fit.

Your Ink Jacket at a Glance

Select your size above. Consider the layers you plan to wear underneath when choosing your fit.

Tackle Express Tips

• Adjust the hood, cuffs, and hem before leaving the dock so you are ready for the boat ride.
• Open the front zipper during active fishing to release excess warmth, then close it before your next run.
• Carry a separate waterproof shell when prolonged rain is in the forecast.

A Few Things to Know Before You Go

Is this the Ink color?
Yes. This listing is for Ink, with MJ38-INK size-specific SKUs. Select Medium, Large, Extra large, or 2XL above.

Is the Reaper a waterproof rain jacket?
No. Its DWR finish provides water repellency for light moisture. Use dedicated waterproof rain gear for prolonged rain.

Does it include neck and face coverage?
Yes. The integrated neck gaiter and hood provide extra coverage for cool, windy outings.

Round Out Your Cool-Weather Setup

Cold air feels different once the boat gets moving. The AFTCO Reaper Tactical Zip-Up Jacket in Charcoal pairs a three-layer stretch ripstop softshell with warm Hexatron™ fleece lining, giving anglers a windproof layer that moves with them while casting, working a lure, or reaching for the net. Its full-length zipper makes it easy to adjust coverage as a chilly launch turns into an active day on the water.

An integrated neck gaiter adds coverage without another loose accessory to keep track of, while the adjustable shock cord helps secure the fit. The understated Charcoal color works just as well around town as it does on the boat.

When a Sweatshirt Is Not Enough

Choose the Reaper when wind protection matters as much as warmth. The softshell construction provides a more purposeful barrier for exposed shorelines and boat rides than a basic sweatshirt, while the stretch fabric makes it a practical choice for repeated casts and active fishing. DWR water repellency helps shed light moisture, but this is not a substitute for dedicated waterproof rain gear in sustained rain.

The Right Pick If...

You fish cool mornings, breezy afternoons, or fall and winter trips and want a zip-up layer you can adjust throughout the day. Wear it over a base layer in cool weather, or incorporate it into a layered setup when temperatures drop further. For warm, still conditions, a lighter performance shirt is the better choice.

Best for: bass fishing with moving baits or jigs, shoreline casting, inshore fishing, and cool-weather offshore trips. Its benefit is weather comfort across techniques, not a species-specific feature.

Details That Earn Their Place on the Boat

• Three-layer stretch ripstop softshell: combines wind protection with freedom of movement.
• Hexatron™ fleece lining: adds warmth for cooler fishing conditions.
• Integrated neck gaiter: adds convenient face and neck coverage.
• Adjustable shock cord anchoring: helps keep the fit secure.
• Full zip-up front: makes layering and temperature adjustments straightforward.
• DWR water-repellent finish: helps shed light moisture.
• Zippered hand and chest pockets: keep small essentials close and contained.

The Charcoal Lineup

Select your size above. If you plan to wear additional layers underneath, check fit with those layers in mind rather than choosing solely by your usual T-shirt size.

Tackle Express Tips

• Before leaving the dock, adjust the hood and neck coverage so you are not fighting loose fabric once the boat is moving.
• Use the front zipper to release excess warmth during active casting, then close it before an exposed boat ride.
• Pack a separate waterproof shell when sustained rain is in the forecast. Windproof comfort and waterproof storm protection serve different jobs.

A Few Things to Know Before You Go

Is the Reaper a waterproof rain jacket?
No. Its DWR finish provides water repellency for light moisture. Choose dedicated waterproof rain gear for prolonged rain.

Does it include neck and face coverage?
Yes. The integrated neck gaiter provides extra coverage, with an adjustable shock cord anchoring system for a secure fit.

Can I use it for both freshwater and saltwater fishing?
Yes. It is a weather-focused layer for cool, windy conditions, whether you are casting for bass or heading out on a coastal trip.

Built for the Angler Who Fishes Through It All

The Aftco Reaper Sweatshirt in Cypress Heather is engineered for anglers who don't let cold mornings, spray, or wind cut their time on the water short. With a built-in face mask and performance fleece construction, this sweatshirt keeps you warm, protected, and ready to fish — from pre-dawn launches to late-evening drifts.

Performance Fleece That Works as Hard as You Do

Aftco built the Reaper around a heavyweight fleece that traps heat without restricting movement. Whether you're working the rod, rigging bait, or fighting a fish, the relaxed athletic fit moves with you. The Cypress Heather colorway keeps a low profile on the water without sacrificing style off it.

When the Wind Picks Up, the Mask Comes Down

Most sweatshirts leave your face exposed when temperatures drop or spray kicks up. The Reaper's integrated face mask solves that — pull it up in seconds for full coverage, tuck it away when you don't need it. No separate gaiter to lose, no fumbling with gear mid-fight.

Why the Reaper Beats a Standard Hoodie

• Built-in face mask — no extra layer needed
• Heavyweight fleece for genuine warmth in cold conditions
• Aftco's trusted fishing-specific construction and fit
• Durable enough for repeated days on the water
• Cypress Heather colorway works on and off the boat

The Right Pick If...

• You fish early mornings or late evenings in cold weather
• You want one layer that handles wind, spray, and chill
• You're tired of juggling a separate hoodie and face gaiter
• You want Aftco quality in a versatile, everyday-wearable cut

Best Fishing Techniques

Ideal for offshore trolling, inshore bay fishing, surf fishing, and freshwater bass or trout fishing in cooler months. The relaxed fit accommodates layering underneath for extreme cold.

Models & Specs

Tackle Express Tips

• Layer smart: The Reaper's relaxed fit is designed to go over a moisture-wicking base layer — add a lightweight thermal underneath for sub-40°F mornings without losing mobility.
• Face mask hack: Pre-position the mask before you launch so it's ready to pull up the moment spray or wind picks up — no fumbling mid-drift.
• Care tip: Machine wash cold and air dry to preserve the fleece loft and keep the mask elastic snug over time.

FAQ

Does the face mask stay in place when pulled up?
Yes — the integrated mask is designed to sit securely over the nose and mouth without slipping, even when you're actively fishing or moving around the boat.

Can I wear this as a standalone layer or does it need a shell?
The Reaper works great as a standalone layer in mild-to-cool conditions. For heavy rain or extreme cold, pair it with a waterproof shell for full protection.

Is the Cypress Heather color suitable for fishing environments?
Absolutely. The muted heather tone is low-visibility on the water and versatile enough to wear off the boat without looking out of place.
