Berkley Powerbait Atomic Teasers are ideal for trout, panfish or crappie. Cut tentacles and trout worm provide subtle fish attracting action. Pre-rigged and ready to fish. These mini jigs catch anything including trout, crappie, bluegill, shell crackers, sunfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and stripers.  

It mimics a baitfish or larva and appears to be an easy meal for most fish.  The small worm like tail ads more attractant but you can pull it off if you'd like.  The consistent colors and interesting patterns will entice most fish to strike aggressively.  The hooks small diameter and sharp point make hooking up consistent.

The way we fish them is either on a bobber with a 2-3' leader or tie it directly to the line.  2-4lb line is key and we like to use fluorocarbon like Seaguar Invisx or Berkley Vanish.  Simply cast it out, let it sink for a few seconds, and retrieve it very very slowly. You can set the hook or wind the reel faster when you get bit.  A reel in the 500, 750, or 1000 size would be best and a light action trout rod for cast-ability and action when fighting the fish.

The 3.5-inch Fat Gitzit Tubes is a classic, tournament proven bait. The Fat Gitzit actually has a narrower profile, and is a great choice any time the fishing gets tough. Retrieval Tip

A slow, steady retrieve without twitching produces the best results with the Mini Tube Jig. If you're looking for a bait that provides the look of a tube bait, but has the fall rate of a bulkier heavy bait then check out the Yamamoto Fat Ika.

We like it rigged on a 4/0 wide gap hook from Owner or Gamakatsu EWG but our favorite is the Owner 4/0 Beast Hook.  The beast hook gap is larger allowing for the hook to come through the plastic for better hooks sets.  The screw in CPS spring holds it extremely well and won't tear out in most circumstances.  

It has the skirted bottom of a tube, and the body of a grub with a little extra bulk. With the Fat Ika you can jig and swim more accurately than with most tube baits.

As it falls, it has a built-in side to side movement, which is all the bass need some days.
