JRI Custom Lures KO Stinger Surface Iron Jigs have more of an erratic action with a fast kick coming to life with a medium to medium fast retrieve speed. This jig casts phenomenally well for its size and is a good one to have at the ready when fish are up and moving quickly across the surface.

The JRI KO Stinger Light Surface Iron Jigs higher retrieve speed will allow you to cover more water at a faster pace without sacrificing any action in this jig.  The paint finish on all JRI jigs is fantastic with pearl colors on many of there jigs, they stand out both in quality and finishes.  The hooks are premium along with the welded rings a fantastic swimming ability.  These KO Stinger surface irons flat out catch yellows, calicos, and just about any fish feeding on the surface.

Salas 7X Jr Surface Iron Jigs are the same fish catching shape and action as the full sized 7X but in a bite size lure. Perfect when the fish are finicky or biting smaller bait.  Simply cast it, let it sink for a couple seconds, and retrieve at a moderate rate.  Too fast and it will wash out, too slow and it will have a lazy action.  You want to create a reaction in the fish, so make sure you fish it at the right speed.

When you hook a wahoo, don't stop turning the handle.  Even if the drag is peeling off your reel, keep winding until the fish gets to the boat.  The mouth of the wahoo is so hard, many times they aren't hooked.  They are so aggressive that they hold on even without being hooked.  As soon as the pressure on the fish is released, the fish will simply let go of the lure.

Built on the 32824NP-BN 2x strong hook, the Mustad Big Eye Bucktail Jig features two line tie positions to give the angler options.

The nose tie allows the angler to cast and retrieve the jig, mimicking a swimming action. The top tie allows the angler to employ a more traditional jigging retrieve. The Tady A2 is a very versatile jig that can be worked vertically, horizontally, or in a yoyo action.  The A2 is more squared off than the Tady AA and is slightly heavier.  

Vertical: To work it vertically, cast it or drop it straight under the boat.  Let it sink to the desired depth which could range from a few feet to several dozen feet.  Put the reel in gear and wind it back with a fast retrieve.  

Horizontal:  Cast it as far as possible and let it sink for a second or two and wind it straight back to the boat with a  fast retrieve.  

YoYo:  Cast it or drop it straight under the boat, let it sink to the desired depth, and one line is taught and the reel is in gear, drop the rod tip and then lift the rod tip 3-4 feet.  Drop the rod tip again and repeat without winding the reel.  After a few minutes if you're not already bit, wind it up a few cranks and repeat.  

There is no need to put any bait or scent on most Tady jigs, it's a reaction and if the bite is on, they will eat it.  Bait can actually impair the action of the jig so it's best just to tie straight to the ring on the iron.  We prefer throwing irons on 30# or 40# line in general but the size of the fish being caught, the size of your reel, and the weight of the jig all play a part in deciding what line to use.

Color and hook manufacturer varies on each lure and may not be exactly like the picture shows.  Scratches are common on all Tady Lures, they get scratched in transit and these scratches don't impact the ability to catch fish.
