The Submission Fishing Jigs Sumo is so versatile that when it's tied on the eye side, the heavy belly of the jig will slide through the water column allowing you to fish underneath docks, pilings, and other hard to reach places.  When tied from the belly side, it will have a more traditional vertical fall. With a wobbling, leaf-like action, the squat, round-belly shape of this jig falls into the depths of the ocean to entice saltwater bay bass as well as many others. The Sumo's compact design also allows you to use a heavier jig in a smaller presentation for precision fishing. The Submission Fishing Slow Death Jigs Ogre is a knife-style jig that will get to the strike zone in a hurry. Unlike traditional knife jigs, this is still a slow pitch jig, getting down to the depths like a knife but is center-balanced like a true slow pitch jig. It can be fished horizontally on the retrieve. Once this jig is pitched, it rumbles and rolls its way through the water in an erratic fashion. Like a true ogre of legend, only the largest and mightiest fish can take this monster down. This is the perfect jig for huge tuna or any other large fish that needs a big bait.

Slow Death Jigs The Ogre  comes in three different sizes and colors, a 300g, 400g, 500g, and 600g.

• The Rainbow Roll has rainbow foil and glow stripes on one side and rainbow foil on the other. On the fall it will flip between the two sides, creating exciting contrast to entice the fish.

These Submission Fishing Slow Death Jigs Samurai are the right weapon to slay monster game fish. The ribs of this jig resemble the layered armor of the famed Samurai of ancient Japan. Though large and heavy, they allow it the same graceful movements as it sweeps through the water in a deadly fluent motion. This jig will slaw any fish in its path just like its name sake. Perfect for large tuna and big bottom fish!

Slow Death Jigs The Samurai comes in four colors and three sizes a 400g, 500g, and 600g.

The Tady 45 Surface Iron is the king of surface irons.  Works great for tuna, yellowtail, calico bass, wahoo, dorado, barracuda, and even white sea bass.  Simply cast it as far as you can and wind it straight back to the boat with a fast retrieve.  

There is no need to impart action into the jig, just point the rod tip at it and wind it back.  You may need to allow it to sink just a little under the surface before you start winding so it catches water.  

We prefer throwing irons on 30# or 40# monofilament line in general but the size of the fish being caught, the size of your reel, and the weight of the jig all play a part in deciding what line to use.

The hooks may change depending on the availability at the Tady warehouse.  Don't worry though, they all catch fish and they are all plenty strong.

The Tady 9 is a thinner and more narrow version of the Tady A2 and Tady AA jigs.  This makes the jig fall faster due to less drag on the lure.  It also swims in a tighter pattern for when you need to burn it back when fish are the most active.  

Verticle: To work it vertically, cast it or drop it straight under the boat.  Let it sink to the desired depth which could range from a few feet to several dozen feet.  Put the reel in gear and wind it back with a fast retrieve.  

Horizontal:  Cast it as far as possible and let it sink for a second or two and wind it straight back to the boat with a  fast retrieve.  

YoYo:  Cast it or drop it straight under the boat, let it sink to the desired depth, and one line is taught and the reel is in gear, drop the rod tip and then lift the rod tip 3-4 feet.  Drop the rod tip again and repeat without winding the reel.  After a few minutes if you're not already bit, wind it up a few cranks and repeat.

The Tady TLC is a great white sea bass jig when rigged with a squid and the white glow color.  The other colors are great for a wide variety of fish when the bait is smaller or you need a more subtle presentation.  Don't let the size of this little guy fool you, it's heavy for its size and cast's very well.

The Tady 4/0 Iron is a heavy yoyo iron for vertical deep water jigging for yellowtail and bottom fish.  It works best for fish on deep structure or if you need to get jig to fall fast through the column to get past unwanted species.  The Tady 4/0 is one of our favorite heavy jigs, simply let if fall to the desired depth and then wind it up as fast as you can.  You can also pull the tip up fast and then drop the tip and repeat.  These are deadly on yellowtail and tuna!
