The Pitbull Tackle Braided Line Cutter 2.0 offers even more functionality than it's predecessor. The cutting edges and overall design of the cutter remains completely unchanged, but an integrated Monofilament/Flourocarbon Cutter was added at the base of the cutting blades as well as a lanyard attachment for safely securing your cutters. By adding the mono/flouro cutting area on each blade, the longevity of each cutter is greatly increased as repeated cuts with non-braided lines over time will dull the serrated cutting edge and diminish the effectiveness of the blades. The lanyard attachment is also a new addition as it allows any user to secure their cutter to a boat, backpack, line counter, or even themselves.
The Tackle Express rod bungee is perfect for keeping all your rods together and secure. They are made of a small elastic bungee that keeps constant pressure on the rods so they don't loosen or come apart.
The locking mechanism keeps them together but is also easy to loosen, simply move the button back and they come loose. They are extremely durable and can withstand natures elements for years.
The soft pad makes sure the locking mechanism doesn't damage the rods or guides.

We have opted for M3.5 Stainless Steel Quicklinks rather than the normal carabiner as these have less areas for sand, grit and dirt to affect the functionality of the connection.
The clear TPU coil is Ø4mm and makes every effort to return to its original shape unlike some of the 1mm to 2mm diameter coils. The Avet Reel Cover is custom made for Avet reels but works with most other brands. It's made of neoprene, similar to what is used for wetsuits. A band wraps around the handle and uses Velcro to adhere to itself to protect the handle. Avet also put a ring on the top so you can attach your lure or hook to it while the reel is on the rod. They come in four sizes to fit most any size reel. We think its the best reel cover we've ever seen.
We have also found the small size great for low profile bait casting reels. We have used it on everything from Daiwa 300's to Shimano Curado's and it fits very well. Try it out on your low profile reel instead of using a lesser quality cover, we think you'll like it.

If you need a cover for your spinning, conventional, or bait casting reel, the Shimano Reel Cover fit's all Shimano reels but also other brands as well. It's made of neoprene material which will protect your reel from scratches and blemishes. These reel covers fit both right and left hand reels.
The padding is sufficient enough to protect it but thin enough so that it's not bulky. It attaches with a premium velcro strap and has vented holes to allow for moisture to escape.
As with all the models, they can be attached to your reel and remain on the rod. The spinning version actually wraps around the rod keeping it and your reel secure and safe. These fit both left and right hand reels but the logo may be upside down on left handed reels. Shimano puts a "1" on the left hand reels model number to indicate they are left handed. For example, the right hand is a Tranx 400 is left hand and the 401. Wondering what size you need for your reel, check out the information below.
The medium round cover will fit Shimano 300 size and 400 size Curado and Tranx reels but it will be loose fitting. As of February 2024, Shimano doesn't make a cover to fit these reels tightly.
