DD stands for Deep Diver — and this compact 2.5" suspending jerkbait dives 5–7 feet, putting it right in the face of bass that are holding just out of reach of the original Pointer 65.

Like all Pointer models, the 65DD is engineered with a specially designed brass weight system that creates a very low center of gravity. Stop the retrieve and the bait doesn't just pause — it wobbles and vibrates in place, emitting a subtle bass-calling vibration that triggers strikes from even the most reluctant fish. A short twitch of the rod tip generates a fluid, underwater walk-the-dog action that seals the deal. With a wider wobble than the standard Pointer 65, the DD version is also a great alternative when fish want a smaller profile than the Staysee series but need the bait pushed a little deeper.
