The Certate LT also features an Aluminum MQ Body, Zaion Airdrive Rotor, and Airdrive Bail, working together seamlessly to provide a smooth and efficient fishing experience. Furthermore, the incorporation of Magsealed technology protects critical components like the pinion and line roller from external elements, extending the reel's longevity.

Elevate your angling endeavors with the Daiwa Certate LT, where precision meets robustness, and where the MC Tough Digigear ensures that your line retrieval remains reliable even in the face of unexpected challenges, making it the ideal companion for the dedicated angler.
The Daiwa Exceler LT - Daiwa uses a carbon fiber body called Zaion V. The new version is 3%-5% lighter than our current model for comparable sizes. It also comes with an Airdrive Rotor & Airdrive Bail like our version on the exist—are tubular but they’re not on the Exceler.
We went to a solid bail wire for its rigidity and resistance to bending during normal use, the thinner, smaller wire is also lighter, which reduces the weight of the rotation, thus reducing the weight of the reel.
Elevate your inshore angling with the Shimano Exsence B spinning reel, a top choice in Shimano's lightweight series for anglers seeking performance without added weight. Designed for finesse fishing in saltwater, this reel blends advanced technology with a sleek design to deliver smooth retrieves and precise lure control, ideal for targeting sea bass, redfish, or trout in coastal waters.
The lightweight rotor, made from CI4+ carbon with an asymmetrical profile, reduces rotational inertia by up to 22%, making casts feel effortless. Paired with technology for precise line lay, it ensures longer, tangle-free casts, even with lures under 1/4 oz. The rigid body and gear offer cold-forged durability, eliminating flex during intense fights, while a system minimizes vibration for quiet operation and smooth performance.
For drag performance, the drag system provides over 10x the durability of standard systems, with instant adjustments to handle surges on light line. An anti-twist fin prevents line sags and wind knots, and water resistance ensures reliability in saltwater. Weighing as little as 6.2 oz in the 2500 size, the Shimano Exsence B spinning reel shifts your center of gravity closer to the rod, reducing fatigue on long outings. Whether you're finesse dropping in brackish bays or casting topwaters at dawn, this lightweight saltwater spinning reel helps you feel every subtle bite and current shift. Experience a blend of low-inertia rotation and strength for your next trophy catch.
Key Features:
- MGL Rotor: Ultra-light CI4+ carbon construction with asymmetrical design for reduced rotational inertia and enhanced responsiveness.
- InfinityLoop Technology: Ultra-slow spool oscillation for precise line lay, enabling longer casts with light lures.
- HAGANE Body and Gear: Rigid, cold-forged construction that eliminates flex and delivers durable power transmission.
- SilentDrive System: Redesigned components for micron-level tolerances, minimizing noise and vibration for smooth operation.
- DuraCross Drag: High-durability drag washers offering over 10x the lifespan of standard systems, paired with Rapid Fire Drag for quick adjustments.
- Anti-Twist Fin: Prevents line sagging and tangles by maintaining even line flow off the spool.
- X-Protect Water Resistance: Labyrinth structure and coatings for superior saltwater corrosion protection.
- G-Free Body: Shifts center of gravity toward the rod handle to reduce fatigue during extended use.
