We like the original Power Pro Spectra Braided Line for it's abrasion resistance and castability.  It has very low stretch and is a workhorse that will last for years without failing.  As with any braid, cut off the last 7-10 feet once in a while to insure the line doesn't have abrasion.  When we fish with a leader, it's best to tie a new leader on each time you fish.

The Berkley Vanish Fluorocarbon Leader Spools in 110yds is great for leaders or smaller reels.  Nearly invisible and super soft and castable, this line is ideal for those who don't want problems with memory.  We find that lines that are more soft tend to not be as strong but Vanish is different.  Give it a shot, we think you'll like it's performance.
