Avet Reel Clamp Kits come with studs, screws, and crossbar. It's made of the same 6061-T6 aluminum that the reel is made of for a strong connection with the rod. If you have lost yours or it's just time for a new one, the Avet reel clamp kit is sure to fit the bill.

The Avet Reel Cover is custom made for Avet reels but works with most other brands. It's made of neoprene, similar to what is used for wetsuits. A band wraps around the handle and uses Velcro to adhere to itself to protect the handle. Avet also put a ring on the top so you can attach your lure or hook to it while the reel is on the rod. They come in four sizes to fit most any size reel. We think its the best reel cover we've ever seen.
We have also found the small size great for low profile bait casting reels. We have used it on everything from Daiwa 300's to Shimano Curado's and it fits very well. Try it out on your low profile reel instead of using a lesser quality cover, we think you'll like it.

If you have more than one reel, you need an Avet Reel Bag to organize and protect your reels. As well as having plenty of room to protect your reels during travel or storage, these high quality padded nylon soft-sided cases feature plenty of roomy pockets for storing leaders, tools, manuals…anything you can stuff into them!
They have movable padded dividers with hook and loop attachments in the main reel cargo area, heavy duty zippered pockets and a wide, comfortable adjustable shoulder strap with quick release buckles.
Made from heavy-duty black nylon, they feature a beautifully detailed color embroidered Avet marlin logo on the front.

I really like this reel for vertical fishing since it does have that taller spool. For the fishing I do, I don't really use this reel for casting but it does cast well. The MC Cast control knob uses magnets to slow the spool down and has 5 settings. Number 1 gives you the lest control and number 5 the most. Slowing the spool down under the cast helps prevents back lashes (birds nest) will actually let you cast farther, especially if you're new to casting a conventional reel.

The Avet MXJ G2 Lever Drag Fishing Reels are a powerhouse of reels, especially for their size. It boasts 20lbs of drag at full which is enough for at least a 50lb tuna with micro braided line. For a fishing reel this small, that is very impressive. With 400 yards of 50 pound regular 4 carrier braid, you have the capacity and torque of a much larger reel.
The solid aluminum frame won't flex under a load and the superior carbon fiber drag washers will stand up to a long fight. We like this reel for the light weight, extreme durability, nice line capacity, and nice free-spool. As with any of the Avet reels, you get bang for your buck and a reel that will last you for many years to come.
