The Avet MXJ G2 Lever Drag Fishing Reels are a powerhouse of reels, especially for their size.  It boasts 20lbs of drag at full which is enough for at least a 50lb tuna with micro braided line.  For a fishing reel this small, that is very impressive.  With 400 yards of 50 pound regular 4 carrier braid, you have the capacity and torque of a much larger reel.  

The solid aluminum frame won't flex under a load and the superior carbon fiber drag washers will stand up to a long fight.  We like this reel for the light weight, extreme durability, nice line capacity, and nice free-spool.  As with any of the Avet reels, you get bang for your buck and a reel that will last you for many years to come.

Avet Reel Clamp Kits are official (or OEM-compatible) accessory kits from Avet Reels, a popular American brand known for high-performance saltwater lever-drag fishing reels (like the SX, MX, LX, HX, EX, and Raptor series).

Compatibility

• Fits most Avet models (SX, MXJ, MXL, LX, HX/HXJ/HXW, EX, Raptor/G2 series, etc.)

The clamp is made from the same aircraft-grade 6061-T6 billet aluminum as Avet reels themselves for maximum strength and corrosion resistance.

The Avet Reel Cover is custom made for Avet reels but works with most other brands.  It's made of neoprene, similar to what is used for wetsuits.  A band wraps around the handle and uses Velcro to adhere to itself to protect the handle.  Avet also put a ring on the top so you can attach your lure or hook to it while the reel is on the rod.  They come in four sizes to fit most any size reel.  We think its the best reel cover we've ever seen.

We have also found the small size great for low profile bait casting reels.  We have used it on everything from Daiwa 300's to Shimano Curado's and it fits very well.  Try it out on your low profile reel instead of using a lesser quality cover, we think you'll like it.

The Baitsanity Antidote 7 Glide Baits appeared on the swimbait scene just a few years ago with their Explorer Series swimbaits, starting with their Trout and Carp Explorers. These custom baits quickly found a home in the hands of big bait anglers looking for a full sized glide bait option that wasn’t as expensive as JDM imports like the Deps Slide Swimmer or Roman Made Negotiator. 

That swimbait is the Baitsanity Antidote, a Glide Bait that is crafted with an ABS Resin body for increased durability. The Antidote Glide Swimbait has a highly detailed air brushed paint job along with a single joint construction, with allows the Antidote Glide to swim Side-To-Side with a seductive “S” action that trophy sized bass can’t resist.

We've fished this bait several times and we're very impressed with the versatility.  On a slow wind, the bait will stay just under the water's surface creating a wake behind the bait.  We've found that this in often times what creates a strike.  A slow steady retrieve without popping the rod has been the most productive.   

The summer before the weeds grow too thick, the bait should be incredible.  Due to it's ability to stay in the first 6 inches of the water column, fishing this over grass or stickups makes this bait very unique.
