The Little John comes equipped with a computer chip board lip. This style of lip is extremely durable and sensitive. The silent tungsten weight transfer system provides the distance and casting accuracy for this small profile bait. The lip design of the Little John gives it a tight wobble but enough action to aid in cover deflection. The tight wobble of the Little John allows you to cover water quickly and effectively. The G-Ratt Baits Poppa Pete Swimbaits are a silent slow sinking glide bait weighing 5 Ounces and 10 inches in length equipped with heavy-duty hardware, size 2/0 hooks, and rotating hangers. The tails are easily replaceable. Papa Pete has a nice wide glide on slow reel cranks and then can be fished fast for an erratic baitfish action and sinks extremely slow in a level position.

This is a very unique glide bait. You can slow retrieve it for a nice gliding action. You can swoop the rod tip for the bait to glide to one side and pause and swoop again to bring it back to the other side. A favorite retrieve is reel cranking it to make a very fast darting action back and forth like a fleeing baitfish. You can do little twitches of the rod with just the tip of the rod while reeling and the baits head will rock left to right which will imitate a swimming baitfish.

The bait can also be “waked” on a slow retrieve when brought to the surface. It has a beautiful tight subtle rolling wake which we’ve found effective early mornings and late evenings. Our new weighting system adds a realistic rattling sound. This bait has a slow sinking ratio of 1 foot in 2-3 seconds.

The P-Line Neoprene Rod Strap is perfect for bundling all your rods together for easy storage and less chance of breakage.  When going on a fishing trip, we like to group all the rods together and wrap them up at the top and bottom.  The lines are less likely to tangle and the soft neoprene material secures them well without scratching.  The bright blue color is easy to find in your box so you won't loose them.

These P-Line Ling Cod Rigs are ready to hit the water.  They include the line, swivels, hooks, and two plastic squids.  The Ling Cod Rig is a larger version of the highly effective Rock Cod Rig. At 5 inches these squid are the perfect length for larger ling cod. This version is also tied on 50 pound leader, but uses a larger 7/0 hook. Here at Tackle Express, we like to put a small piece of squid or some gel fish attractant on the squid.  The gel scent can be Hookup Baits Mermaid Milk, Smelly Jelly, Hot Sauce, or any kind of scent that stays on well.  We like to put it inside the squid so it releases slowly. 

Add a weight that is heavy enough to get to the depth of water you're fishing, hit the bottom and jig it up and down 3 feet at a time using the rod tip.  After a few times, send it to the bottom again since the terrain can change as the boat drifts.

The Mustad Slow Pitch Double Jigging Assist Rig J-ASSIST3 is designed for fast swimming fish or bottom feeders.
