The Yamamoto Zako Swimbait was designed by Elite angler Brett Hite, and it’s his bait of choice as a  swimbait trailer when he’s slinging chatterbaits or he’s in the mood to flip.

Additionally, Brett wanted to keep the tail action tight, similar to an actual baitfish, so we designed the tail with accordion-style cuts and a flanged tail which keeps the action minimal. Hookset ratios are also improved as the tail folds in on itself when the fish bite.

Another key feature of the Zako which is exceptionally useful when rigging it as a flip bait is the center line on the top of the bait – you’ll always know you’re rigging it dead center and that means the Zako will always run true.

Rapala's Husky Magnum® will swim at a predetermined depth when trolled. The number in the name of the lure indicates the running depth when trolled with 30 meters of line out.  The Husky Magnum can be trolled almost twice as fast as the original Rapala XRAP so you're able to cover twice as much water increasing the chance of a strike.

If you want to use the Husky Magnum® in shallow water, let the lure run with less line to adjust the running depth. Using thicker line that has more resistance in the water also reduces the running depth.

The Stick Jacket XL Casting model fits rods up to 8-1/2' Long and 3-7/8" round.  We like these sleeves because they are easy to put on and take off, protect the rod and guides, and can be color coordinated so you know which rod is which.  The grommet at the tip allows you to hang your rod, the sleeve acts like a finger trap.  

All the covers are designed to stop short of the reel and in most cases the hook holder.  That way you can have a bait or lure tied on and it won't get caught in the sleeve.  We don't recommend putting the hook on the guides, you'll have a heck of a time getting it off if the hook gets in the sleeve.

Izorline First String Clear Wind-On Top Shots are the fastest, Stronest, and easiest way to connect Spectre/Braid to Mono. There is a small learning curve to fishing Wind-On Top Shots.

Izorline First String Clear Wind-On Top Shots have a spectra loop on the end so you're going to need to serve a loop in your hollow core spectra to make the loop to loop connection and if you do not have hollow core then, you'd have to tie a Bimini twist loop in the end of your solid spectra to make the right connection.

A Wind-On Top Shot is one of the most in-line connections from braid to mono making it virtually silent and smooth going through the guides on the rod. Also a Loop to Loop connection is the strongest connection for spectra to mono.  Some anglers like monofilament over fluorocarbon because monofilament has more stretch.  That stretch acts like a rubber band and give a shock absorber when a fish trashes or changes direction quickly.  Fluorocarbon is harder for the fish to see and is generally better during the daytime hours.
