Owner Sled Heads

The Owner Sled Head is perfect for fishing your favorite soft plastics, craws, and creature baits. Designed with a groove built onto the head for a skirt attachment, the Owner Ultrahead Sled Head's unique bullet shaped head makes it great for flipping and pitching.

Made with a razor sharp Super Needle Point hook, the Owner Ultrahead Sled Head is designed to sit in the perfect position for hook-ups.  Owner's unique screw lock bait keeper built around the shank also holds your plastics firmly in place.  

We like to use the Owner Sled Head when there is a lot of vegetation in the water.  These allow the proper rigging for plastic baits when you need a weedless presentation in kelp, eel grass, hydrilla, and many more things that like to snag our hooks.  

For calico bass and white sea bass in Mexico and Southern California, we like to put 7" soft jerkbaits on them and fish them in the kelp.   They also work great for halibut when there is too much crap in the water.  If the water is fairly clean, we like to fish an exposed jig head made by Warbaits but any stout hook jig head will work.
