Rod doesn't fit together properly

Rod pieces don't fit together properly. Likely poor QA on Daiwa's part. There's a 3/4" space at the connectors when they pushed tight. I tried to be more aggressive with the bottom pieces just to be sure it wasn't a break in period or something and of course snapped the tip trying to get them back apart... I'm not a smart man. My Tackle Express experience was solid, no issues there.

Thank you very much for your order Daniel! I'm sorry to hear the rod didn't come together as it should have. I did see a small diagram image showing that the rod is supposed to have a gap where the ferrules come together. When they make a rod with multiple pieces, they purposefully create a gap so that the two sections come together tightly without bottoming out. I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any quesitons. Chad

Eastern Sierra fishing trip.

I just got back from 5 days of trout fishing in the High Eastern Sierra. I caught dozens of fish. Goldens, Rainbows and Brookies. The action and feel was great for a 4 piece pole. Very happy with my purchase.
