A complete redesign of the Lexa platform, the Daiwa Lexa Casting Reel delivers a premium component package built for both freshwater and saltwater applications. Available in two frame sizes — the compact LX 300 (11.5–12.1 oz, 22 lb drag) and the larger LX 400 (16.4–16.9 oz, 25 lb drag) — the Lexa covers everything from freshwater bass and walleye to inshore saltwater species and calico bass. The MagForce magnetic cast control system provides smooth, precise casting across a wide range of lure weights, while the Ultimate Tournament Drag (UTD) with impregnated carbon drag discs and Daiwa's proprietary DSG505 grease delivers a dramatic increase in effective drag power and consistency vs. conventional drag systems.

The EVA knob provides enhanced comfort and grip in wet conditions, and the swept handle positions the handle closer to the rod's centerline to minimize wobble during retrieval. The 6(2CRBB)+1 bearing system includes 2 corrosion-resistant ball bearings at key saltwater exposure points for long-term durability.
