Owner Mutu Circle hooks are extra strong and able to handle big tuna, yellowtail, halibut and may other species.  Like all circle hooks, make sure you don't set the hook with the rod.  Once bit, point the rod at the fish and wind until the rod loads up.  The hook should be in the corner of the mouth right where you want it.  

In the corner of the mouth, it makes it difficult for the teeth to cut the line.  It's also the best point in the mouth for the hook to pivot on.  This bulk pack saves you money on one of the best hooks Owner makes.

Bullet Weights Worm Weights are great for fishing a Texas rig or Carolina rig for largemouth bass.   The powder coat paint will hold up against the gnarliest cover and the smooth inside won't cause damage to your fishing line.  Lead weights with powder coated finish.

The Carolina Keeper might be the best thing ever invented.  It's a simple piece of hard plastic that has a small slit through the middle.  If you hold it in your pliers with the slit perpendicular to the pliers and squeeze it, the slit will open up enough so you can slip your fishing line into it.  

These keep your weight or bobber from slipping down to the hook without having to tie a swivel on.  It saves you two knots and is very easy to use.  If you want the length between the wight and hook increased, just squeeze it and move it up the line further.  

It's perfect when you don't want your weight to slide down to your hook.  You no longer have to use a swivel and it saves you having to tie two knots.

Owner Super Mutu Circle Hooks are made using a super strong, thick shank for catching jumbo fish and using jumbo bait. The Owner Super Mutu Hook is a circle hook designed for very large bait applications when targeting the largest fish the sea has to offer.

Super Mutu Hook Uses

As stated above the Super Mutu hook is a very strong shank hook designed for the biggest game fish in the sea. Some practical techniques that use this hook are:

• 4/0 - 6/0: Live bait such as sardine and mackeral for Yellowfin and Bluefin.
• 6/0 - 11/0: Live Caballito and google eyes in saltwater for Tuna. Also a great Sturgeon hook when using prepared bait.
• 12/0 - 16/0: Live Skipjack and Yellowfin Tuna when targeting the elusive Giant Blue and Black Marlin. Anglers targeting these fish almost unanimously regard the Owner Super Mutu to be the best hook option.

The Gamakatsu Round Bend Treble Bronze Hooks are very sticky hooks.  They aren't the strongest hooks with only 1X strong wire, but the thin wire sticks better than a stronger hook.  

If you're fish are coming off once hooked, consider going to these and see the difference.  You may need to change your hook out more often because they get bent, but at least you landed the fish.
