"DD equals Deep Diver" Listen up all you Pointer fans. Lucky Craft now has another new Pointer minnow to add to their repertoire. The new Pointer 65 DD is a shorter and deeper diving version of the popular Pointer 100 SP.

The Pointer 65 DD is perfect when fishing is tough or when the fish just want a smaller bait. This new Pointer is a great bait for fishing a few feet deeper than the original Pointer 65. This bait will dive about 5-7 feet deep and suspend when paused. It has a wider wobble than the Pointer 65 and still has the same body style.

This bait can be used as a larger profile bait in lieu of the Staysee Series. When the fish are holding out a little deeper this bait will get in their face and aggravate them to strike.

The Lucky Craft Flash Pointer 100 is a slow-sinking jerkbait designed to more effectively fish the critical 4 – 5 foot depth zone. Combining the benefits of the Pointer and Flash Minnow, this bait has great side-to-side action and slowly floats allowing it to be used in various shallow water situations. It has a tungsten weight transfer system which shifts to the butt of the bait during a cast to carry the bait an incredible distance.

The Lucky Craft Pointer 78DD Deep Diving Jerkbait has been designed with a very low center of gravity using internal brass weights.  This causes the lure to wobble and vibrate when the retrieve is stopped.  This key feature is what causes fish to bite, most of the time at the head of the bait.  

The diving depth is 7-8 feet and will suspend at that depth.  This is perfect for suspended fish that are looking for an easy meal.  A short twitch of the rod will create a walk the dog action underwater.  This jerkbait is perfect for wearing fish that suspended and are lethargic due to cold water.

We throw it with a spinning outfit on 6-8lb fluorocarbon line.  It's best with the whole spool of fluorocarbon because it is heavier than other lines.  If you have braid and fluorocarbon, the braid will float causing the lure to not reach maximum depth.

Another great addition to Lucky Craft’s legendary line-up of crankbaits, the Lucky Craft LC 1.0 DD DRS Crankbait now takes the proven “Deep Rattle Sound” to new depths.  Featuring the same DRS rattle system that generates a very loud single knocking sound, which is believed by many pro’s to trigger more strikes and bigger strikes compared to traditional BB-style rattles.

Ever since Takahiro Omori won the Bassmaster Elite event at Lake Wheeler, we have been hard at work trying to design the best top water bait that will bring many more trophies to our Pro Team.
