Savage Gear Pulse Tail Shiner LB Swimbaits are very realistic as close as you can get to fishing live bait. Based on a 3D scan of a real shiner, the Savage Gear Pulse Tail Shiner LB Swimbait is molded with an innovative split rear kicker tail, which generates a rhythmic thumping action at all speeds.
The. are designed with a “loosebody” for ease in changing out hooks and for better hook up ratio, which allows anglers to seamlessly thread a hook through the baits split belly, creating a truly weedless presentation.
Length: 4" 3/4oz, 5" 1 1/4oz
1 Rigged Swimbait
The Owner Sled Head is perfect for fishing your favorite soft plastics, craws, and creature baits. Designed with a groove built onto the head for a skirt attachment, the Owner Ultrahead Sled Head's unique bullet shaped head makes it great for flipping and pitching.
Made with a razor sharp Super Needle Point hook, the Owner Ultrahead Sled Head is designed to sit in the perfect position for hookups. Owner's unique screw lock bait keeper built around the shank also holds your plastics firmly in place.
We like to use the Owner Sled Head when there is a lot of vegetation in the water. These allow the proper rigging for plastic baits when you need a weedless presentation in kelp, eel grass, hydrilla, and many more things that like to snag our hooks.
For calico bass and white sea bass in Mexico and Southern California, we like to put 7" soft jerkbaits on them and fish them in the kelp. They also work great for halibut when there is too much crap in the water. If the water is fairly clean, we like to fish an exposed jig head made by Warbaits but any stout hook jig head will work.

The Halco Max 220 Lure is a massive 220mm long and weighs a substantial 180 grams and its slender profile casts like a bullet into the strongest breezes. It has been designed to run straight and true several meters below the surface in the roughest of sea conditions. The streamlined design allows for high operating speeds and maximum hook exposure, so critical in lure design.
Max’s effective operating envelope is exceptional, ranging from a fast hand retrieve to a racy 14 knots while trolling. You can troll it up to 21 knots but there is no need to troll it that fast. That just demonstrates that it can be trolled fast and has a nice tight wobble.
Like all Halco lures, Max is constructed out of high tech polymers and has been built with strength and durability in mind. Heavy duty Halco Fish Rings and 2 extra strong Mustad hooks are standard equipment on Max and it is available in nine fish catching colors.

Mustad 4X Demon Offset Ringed Circle Hook R39943NP-BN
The super strong Mustad Ringed Demon® Offset Circle Hook features a smooth welded action ring, which is a safe anchor point for your line but also providing a live bait with more range of motion and help anglers increase the number of strikes. No wonder it is so popular among tournament fishermen.
It features 4X strong wire and making it the ultimate hook to target true giants. The distinct curved shape of the circle hook will, when the fish takes the baited hook and swallows it, ensure that the hook travels to the corner of the mouth or lip, resulting in fewer deep-hooked fish.
The circle hook can be used for a whole range of applications from drifting with live bait for Tarpon or trolling for Marlin. When live baiting, always choose a hook size that matches the bait. Setting the hook is more of a firm tightening of the line, than an actual strike.
The hook has a kirbed hook point for improved hookset. It is in other words, the ultimate Catch&Release hook. Use it to fish for a whole range of fresh and saltwater species, such as Wahoo, Marlin, Snapper, Roosterfish, Tarpon, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi/Dorado, Sailfish, Grouper, Skipjack, Catfish, Goliath Tigerfish, Nile Perch or Arapaima.

The Ima Little Stik 135 Topwater bait measures in at 5.5 inches long and weighs 1 oz. Just like its bigger brother, The Big Stik, the Litte Stik is a high-tech lunker-killer that walks, pops, spits and catches just about anything that swims. It’s rear weighted, making it easier to cast and enabling it to sit in a position that as soon as you start your retrieve, it starts to walk and throw water up to 2 feet in front of the lure. Professional Angler & Guide, Randy Pringle, designed this bait so novice anglers and experts alike can make the bait walk back and forth to resemble an injured or feeding baitfish.
All colors have a feathered treble on the rear and regular treble hooks on the front and middle. Often times, we will remove the front treble for better action and less chance of the line hooking on it.
5.5in 1oz
Team Davies Tear Shot Tungsten Worm Weights are 99% tungsten and do not have a sleeve inside. There is a lot of talk about what is better, sleeve or no sleeve. We prefer no sleeve because the sleeve can cause abrasion on the ends but can also fall out. When it falls out, it's rougher in the inside than it would have been had it no sleeve at all. When it starts out with no sleeve, the inside is smooth and usually has a powder paint coating to deter any nicks or damage to your line. We've had more problems with sleeved weights than non sleeve and Team Davies agrees. We have never had a complaint for over 4 years and we think these are a great value for a great product.
Some anglers like the sleeve, others prefer it without. We haven't noticed any difference between the two but maybe on light line it would cause chaffing on the line.

The Lead Masters Swimbait Head Glow is the glow version of the Lead Masters Swimbait Head, featuring high-intensity, long-lasting glow paint that charges under UV light or a flashlight and emits a bright luminescent glow that is visible to fish in low-light conditions, at depth, and in turbid water. The smaller sizes (1/4–3 oz) include a molded red eye for added visual attraction. All sizes feature 2X strong Mustad hooks for reliable hooksets on large game fish. Charge the head before each drop for maximum glow intensity. Available in 9 sizes from 1/4 oz to 8 oz.
Key Features
- High-Intensity Glow Paint — Long-Lasting & Bright — The glow paint on the Lead Masters Swimbait Head Glow is among the brightest and longest-lasting in the swimbait head category; charge the head under a UV light or flashlight before each drop for maximum glow intensity and duration at depth; the glow is most effective during night fishing, in deep water below the thermocline where light penetration is minimal, and in turbid or stained water where standard painted heads lose visibility.
- Molded Red Eye — Visual Trigger (1/4–3 oz) — The smaller sizes (1/4 oz through 3 oz) include a molded red eye that provides a visual focal point and mimics the eye of a baitfish; the red eye combined with the glow head creates a highly visible, lifelike presentation that triggers strikes from predatory fish in low-light conditions; the 6 oz and 8 oz sizes do not include a molded eye (labeled “No Eye”).
- 2X Strong Mustad Hooks — All sizes feature 2X strong Mustad hooks that provide the wire strength needed to handle large game fish on swimbait presentations; Mustad is one of the most trusted hook manufacturers in fishing; the 2X strong construction resists bending and straightening on hard hooksets and during the fight with large fish.
- Hook Size Matched to Weight — Hook size scales with jig weight across the full range: 2/0 for the 1/4–3/8 oz, 3/0 for the 1/2 oz, 4/0 for the 3/4–1 oz, 6/0 for the 1.5–3 oz, and 10/0 for the 6–8 oz; the 10/0 hook on the 6 and 8 oz sizes is sized for large saltwater swimbait presentations targeting big game species.
- Pack Count by Size — 1/4–3/4 oz: 2 per pack. 1–8 oz: 1 per pack.
Size Selection Guide
| Weight | Hook Size | Eye | Pack Count | Best Application |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1/4 oz | 2/0 | Red Eye | 2-pack | Shallow water, night fishing, finesse glow presentations |
| 3/8 oz | 2/0 | Red Eye | 2-pack | Shallow to mid-depth, versatile night and low-light |
| 1/2 oz | 3/0 | Red Eye | 2-pack | Mid-depth inshore, moderate current, night fishing |
| 3/4 oz | 4/0 | Red Eye | 2-pack | Deeper inshore, stronger current, larger swimbaits |
| 1 oz | 4/0 | Red Eye | 2-pack | Deep inshore, surf zone, large glow swimbait presentations |
| 1.5 oz | 6/0 | Red Eye | 2-pack | Heavy surf, deep nearshore, large swimbait trailers |
| 3 oz | 6/0 | Red Eye | 2-pack | Deep nearshore, strong current, large glow swimbaits |
| 6 oz | 10/0 | No Eye | 1-pack | Deep water, maximum current, large offshore swimbait presentations |
| 8 oz | 10/0 | No Eye | 1-pack | Maximum depth and current, large offshore big game presentations |
Best For
- Night Fishing — The primary application for the glow swimbait head; charge the head under a UV light or flashlight before each drop; the high-intensity glow is most effective during night fishing when predatory fish are actively feeding in low-light conditions and the glow head provides a visible target that standard painted heads cannot match.
- Deep Water — Below the Thermocline — Heavier weights (1.5–8 oz) for deep water fishing below the thermocline where light penetration is minimal; the glow head provides visibility at depth that a standard painted head loses; most effective for deep water Rockfish, Lingcod, and other bottom species that respond to glow presentations.
- Calico Bass & Inshore Saltwater — Lighter weights (1/4–3/4 oz) for Calico Bass and inshore species during low-light conditions around kelp and structure; the glow head and red eye combination is a proven trigger for Calico Bass during dawn, dusk, and night fishing.
- Turbid & Stained Water — The glow paint provides visibility in turbid and stained water where standard painted heads lose effectiveness; the luminescent glow is visible to fish even in off-color water conditions where light penetration is reduced.
Sometimes the most versatile tool in the box is the simplest one. The Owner Round Jig Heads are built around the classic round head profile — a design that's proven itself across every freshwater technique from dragging worms on the bottom to swimming soft jerkbaits through the water column. Paired with Owner's 5318 light wire hook and Super Needle Point, these heads are ready to fish the moment you open the pack.
The All-Water-Column Jig Head
What makes the round head so enduring is its neutrality. It doesn't force a specific presentation — it adapts to whatever you need. Drag it slowly across the bottom with a finesse worm and it stays upright. Swim it mid-column with a soft jerkbait and it tracks straight. Pop it near the surface with a paddle tail and it responds instantly. The round bend hook keeps your soft plastic locked in place without tearing through the nose, and the light wire construction means the hook flexes slightly on the hookset — critical for keeping fish pinned on a light wire jig hook.
What Heavier Wire Gets Wrong
Heavy wire jig hooks require more force to drive home, which can mean missed fish on light line or finesse presentations. The Owner 5318 light wire hook drives the Super Needle Point home with minimal resistance, making it ideal for spinning gear and lighter fluorocarbon or braid setups. The round bend also distributes pressure evenly across the hook gap, reducing the chance of the hook straightening under load — a common failure point on cheaper jig heads.
An Edge Over Generic Jig Heads
- Owner Super Needle Point: Sharper out of the package than most competing brands — no touch-up needed
- Light wire 5318 hook: Easier hooksets on spinning gear and light line
- Round bend design: Keeps soft plastics secure without tearing through the nose
- Gentle on small plastics: Won't destroy finesse worms or small jerkbaits on rigging
- 5 weight options: Cover every depth and presentation from ultra-finesse to moderate depth
The Right Pick If...
- You're fishing finesse presentations on spinning gear
- You want one jig head that works from the bottom to the surface
- You're rigging small worms, soft jerkbaits, or paddle tails
- You need a light wire hook that won't tear up delicate plastics
- You're targeting bass, crappie, or other freshwater species on light line
Best Fishing Techniques
- Ned rig style: 1/16–1/8 oz with a small finesse worm — drag slowly on the bottom with minimal action
- Soft jerkbait swim: 1/8–3/16 oz with a fluke or jerkbait — twitch-pause retrieve through the water column
- Wacky-style bottom drag: 1/8–1/4 oz with a straight worm — slow drag with occasional lifts
- Swimbait retrieve: 1/4–3/8 oz with a paddle tail — steady swim at target depth
- Drop shot alternative: 1/16–1/8 oz as a lightweight head for finesse bottom work
Best Conditions
- Clear water where finesse presentations outperform power fishing
- Post-cold-front conditions when fish are less aggressive
- Pressured fisheries where fish have seen every lure in the box
- Shallow to mid-depth water (2–20 ft) across all seasons
- Calm, low-wind days when you can feel subtle bites on light line

Tackle Express Tips
- Start light: The 1/16 oz is a killer Ned rig head — pair it with a Z-Man TRD or Berkley MaxScent Flat Worm and drag it painfully slow on the bottom. It's one of the most consistent finesse techniques in clear water.
- Fluorocarbon is your friend: 8–10 lb fluorocarbon on a spinning rod is the ideal pairing for most sizes. It sinks, has low stretch for solid hooksets, and disappears in clear water.
- Don't overlook the 3/8 oz: The heavier sizes work great for swimming a paddle tail swimbait at depth — a technique that gets overlooked because anglers associate round heads with finesse only.
FAQ
What hook sizes do the Owner Round Jig Heads come in?
The 1/16, 1/8, and 3/16 oz sizes use a Size 2/0 hook (Owner 5318 light wire). The 1/4 and 3/8 oz sizes step up to a Size 3/0 hook to match larger soft plastic profiles.
Are these good for Ned rig fishing?
Yes — the 1/16 oz size is an excellent Ned rig head. The light wire hook and round head profile are well-suited for the slow, subtle bottom presentation that makes the Ned rig so effective on pressured fish.
Can I use these for species other than bass?
Absolutely. The lighter sizes (1/16–1/8 oz) work great for crappie and panfish on small soft plastics. The round head and light wire hook are well-suited for any freshwater species you'd target on spinning gear with soft plastics.
The Submission Fishing Slow Death Jigs Ogre is a knife-style jig that will get to the strike zone in a hurry. Unlike traditional knife jigs, this is still a slow pitch jig, getting down to the depths like a knife but is center-balanced like a true slow pitch jig. It can be fished horizontally on the retrieve. Once this jig is pitched, it rumbles and rolls its way through the water in an erratic fashion. Like a true ogre of legend, only the largest and mightiest fish can take this monster down. This is the perfect jig for huge tuna or any other large fish that needs a big bait.
Slow Death Jigs The Ogre comes in three different sizes and colors, a 300g, 400g, 500g, and 600g.
- The Rainbow Roll has rainbow foil and glow stripes on one side and rainbow foil on the other. On the fall it will flip between the two sides, creating exciting contrast to entice the fish.
- The Blueberry Tiger has blue foil and glow stripes on one side and blue foil on the other. On the fall it will flip between the two sides, creating exciting contrast to entice the fish.
- The Grape Soda has purple and chrome striped foil on one side and purple foil on the other. A true San Diego classic.
- The Macke-roni looks just like a mackerel bait fish.
- The Regal Mint is gold on one side and mint on the other, elevating the fisherman's favorite color with a little San Diego dazzle.
Jigs do not come with hooks so they can be customized.

Lucky Craft Surf Pointer 115 MR Sinking Jerkbait
The wave crashes, the current swirls, and somewhere beneath the surface a striper is hunting. Cast the Lucky Craft Surf Pointer 115 MR into the wash, let it sink into the strike zone, and hold on. Born from Lucky Craft's legendary California Inshore Fishing (CIF) program, the Surf Pointer 115 was built to be a true multi-species weapon — equally at home in the surf, on the lake, or offshore.
What sets the Surf Pointer 115 apart from its popular sibling, the Flash Minnow 110, is its sinking design. That sink rate lets you work it at depth, through current, and across a wide range of retrieves — slow and steady, erratic twitches, or anything in between. Its erratic side-to-side action triggers reaction strikes from virtually any predator that swims, making it one of the most versatile hard baits in your tackle box.

- Erratic side-to-side action works with any retrieve cadence
- Versatile multi-species bait — effective in surf, lakes, and offshore

- Premium Lucky Craft construction with durable, realistic finishes
