• Match size to the split ring, not the lure body. The hook gape needs to clear the lure body during a strike without the shank fouling. On most standard bass crankbaits, Size #4 is the correct fit. Size #6 for smaller finesse cranks; Size #2 or larger for magnum crankbaits and swimbaits.

Q: What's the difference between the ST-35 and a standard Owner treble?
A: The ST-35 has a shorter shank and a wider 150° gap compared to standard treble geometry. The shorter shank reduces hook rash on the bait and gives fish less leverage to throw the hook. Q: Can these be used in saltwater?
