The Gamakatsu Finesse Wide Gap Weedless Hook is great for many types of finesse fishing.  We here at T.E. we use them on drop shot rigs, neko rig, and wacky rigs most often.  This hook comes in a weedless and non-weedless option for different applications.  

This weedless version is great for if you have small grass or other green growth in the lake that might cause snags or foul your hook.  The nylon weedless guard simply catches on the barb of the hook which holds it in place surprisingly well.  It's firm enough that it keeps stuff off your hook but light enough to give under a hook set.  

The hook is extremely sharp and has a thin wire but is strong enough to land some of the biggest fish.  The angled eye gives you leverage as you set the hook and almost pivots the point upward for a better hookup ratio.  If you haven't tried the Gamakatsu Finesse Wide Gap Weedless Hook give it a try, we think you'll like it.

The Gamakatsu Round Bend Treble Bronze Hooks are very sticky hooks.  They aren't the strongest hooks with only 1X strong wire, but the thin wire sticks better than a stronger hook.  

If you're fish are coming off once hooked, consider going to these and see the difference.  You may need to change your hook out more often because they get bent, but at least you landed the fish.

Stick Jacket Casting rod sleeves work great for protecting your rod from scratches, broken guides, and tangles.  The sleeve slips over your rod with ease and keeps the line from catching on other rods.  

It acts like a trap and hold tight to the rod until you want to take it off.  The brass grommet on the end allows you to hang it up on the wall without falling out (without the reel.)  

The jacket falls short of covering the entire rod, it usually stops short enough to have a lure tied on and attached to the hook keeper without hanging up.  We recommend not putting a lure on the guides, this will result in snagging on the Stick Jacket.

The Decoy Heavy Lock is great when you need your weight to stay against the hook.  It fits 12lb to 25lb mono or 50-80 lb braid.  Most use it for flipping and punching but they also work great for Texas rigged worms or craw baits when you don't want the weight sliding up and down the line.

 We like the decoy brands because they are long which allows it to come through weeds without hanging up.  They also stay on the line and grip it better because of the increased surface area.  Simply put your line through the wire loop an inch or two and slide the lock onto the line.  It will first go on both lines but will then will slide onto the main line.
