If you're using the wacky method, try using an O Ring or clear band, we have both here, to minimize damage to the worm and catch more fish on each worm.  Our go-to color is green pumpkin, and is arguable the most popular color ever made.  However, if the water is stained or muddy, using a color that has chartreuse or a lot of flake can have better results.  

The hook we use is an Owner Twistlock 5/0 and we typically use it unweighted.  If we are fishing deeper than 20ft, we will us the weighted version of this hook to help us get deeper quicker.

The Deps Frilled Shad Swimbaits are a realistic reproduction of streamlined baitfish with enhanced real action that trembles and rolls, such as a smelt that live in many waters. The bait has a quivering action and unique twisting swimming action. In addition, a rolling action with a shaking from side to side is created during the retrieve. Just swim it back and the bait will do the rest. FRILLED SHAD is 4.7 inches and comes five per pack.

The mold of the bait creates an ultra-realistic body and it includes lifelike eyes. The combination makes it look just like a baitfish and will get more bites in tough situations. 

There are two versions, one with a 0% salt content and one with 10%.
