Owner ST-36 Red Treble Hooks are great for changing out hooks on your favorite lures for bass, walleye, stripers, and many other smaller game fish. These hooks are 1X strong meaning that they are regular strength hooks. When a hook is 2X, it's twice as strong as the 1X and so on. The Gamakatsu Finesse Wide Gap Weedless Hook is great for many types of finesse fishing. We here at T.E. we use them on drop shot rigs, neko rig, and wacky rigs most often. This hook comes in a weedless and non-weedless option for different applications.
This weedless version is great for if you have small grass or other green growth in the lake that might cause snags or foul your hook. The nylon weedless guard simply catches on the barb of the hook which holds it in place surprisingly well. It's firm enough that it keeps stuff off your hook but light enough to give under a hook set.
