They work great for hanging in the garage, shed, or a room in the house.  Each set comes with a bottom for the butt section of the rods and a top section for the mid to upper section.  We recommend having the upper section near the middle of the rod where it is stronger.  When the rod clicks into place, please be careful not to put too much strain on it.  Once clicked in, it will be very secure and will not come out easily.
