Okuma Rockaway SI Surf Inshore Spinning Reels

The Okuma Rockaway SI Surf Inshore Spinning Reel is a saltwater spinning reel series introduced at ICAST 2025 and released in late 2025. It is purpose-built for surf casting, jetty fishing, and inshore applications, featuring a lightweight C-40X carbon fiber body, sealed Hydro Block drag gasket, Cyclonic Flow Rotor for faster drying and corrosion resistance, no anti-reverse switch for fewer water entry points, multi-disc carbonite drag washers, oversized HDG+ gearing, Flite Drive system, and 5HPB + 1RB stainless steel bearings.

It offers high-speed gear ratios for quick retrieval, machined aluminum spool and handle, and excellent corrosion resistance for harsh saltwater environments. 

• 2500 Series — Compact for lighter inshore work; ideal for flats, lighter surf, or finesse techniques.
• 3000 Series — Versatile mid-size; great balance for inshore rods (7-9 ft) or lighter surf casting.
• 4000 Series — All-purpose for beach/jetty; pairs well with 9-11 ft surf rods.
• 5000 Series — Larger for heavier surf casting; maximum line capacity and power for distance and big fish.
