The Accurate Ascender Star Drag Reel is a high-performance conventional reel designed for anglers seeking lightweight durability and exceptional drag power in saltwater and inshore fishing. Built with Accurate’s patented TwinStarDrag® technology, it delivers smooth, even drag pressure by applying stainless steel and carbon fiber washers on both sides of the main gear, ensuring consistent performance and up to 30 pounds of stopping power.

Constructed from T6 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum using CVX® technology, the Ascender offers a robust yet lightweight frame, making it ideal for casting lures or battling hard-fighting fish like tuna, yellowtail, and striped bass. The reel features ABEC 3 bearings for ultra-smooth operation and Accurate’s Xtreme Casting Technology® (XCT) for enhanced castability with minimal backlashes.
