Daiwa J-Fluoro Samurai Fluorocarbon

Designed and made in Japan, the Daiwa J-Fluoro Samurai is a premium fluorocarbon mainline built for anglers who demand the best in low-visibility, small-diameter fluorocarbon for both mainline and leader applications. Its near-invisible properties in water make it ideal for clear water, pressured fish, and any situation where line visibility is a factor in triggering bites. The small diameter relative to its breaking strength improves lure action, casting distance, and sensitivity compared to larger-diameter fluorocarbon at the same pound test.

Available in two colors — Clear for maximum invisibility in clear water, and Green/Brown for natural blending in stained or vegetation-heavy water — and in 8 line weights from 4 lb to 14 lb to cover ultralight through medium-heavy freshwater and light saltwater applications. Each 1,000-yard bulk spool features an ergonomic spool design with a convenient spool protector and a D-VEC halfway marker at 110 yards to indicate remaining line at a glance.

Color Selection Guide

• Clear — Maximum invisibility in clear, blue, or lightly stained water. Best for clear reservoirs, mountain streams, and any situation where fish are line-shy and water clarity is high.
• Green/Brown — Natural blending in stained, tannic, or vegetation-heavy water. Best for bass fishing in green or brown water, river fishing with tannin staining, and any environment where green or brown tones blend with the water color.

Best For

• Trout & Panfish — 4–6 lb: Lightest weights for ultralight trout and panfish applications where near-invisible fluorocarbon and small diameter are critical for triggering bites from line-shy fish.
• Bass & Walleye — 6–10 lb: Mid-range weights for finesse bass techniques (drop shot, ned rig, shaky head), walleye, and applications where fluorocarbon mainline or leader provides a stealth advantage.
