Gamakatsu Offset Shank Worm EWG Hooks are the standard for worms and creature baits.  We love the bend on these hooks and the super sharp point.

 These fishing hooks work best for thick bodied worms, craw, and creature type baits because of the extra wide gap.  An extra wide gap is defined by the distance from the point of the hook to the bottom of the curve of the shank.  EWG hooks are good for plastic baits that have a bigger body to them.  If the gap is too small, upon hook-set the point of the hook won't be able to come through the plastic to pierce the fishes mouth.  The extra gap gives the hook room to come through the plastic which exposes the hook.

Gamakatsu Split Shot, Drop Shot Hooks have the right bend to make the bait presentation at the right angle.  The preferred knot is the palomar but make sure you take your tag line and run it through the eye of the hook to finish the knot.  

We like this hook because it's very sharp and has the perfect angle for drop shot rigs and split shot rigs.  The wire is thin so hookups are solid, allowing you to get the fish in.  Even though they are thin, they are still pretty tough considering the wire size.  There are 6 hooks per pack but we also have bulk packs for a better value.

Best For

• Weedless Drop Shot — The ReBarb’s plastic barb keeps the worm in the correct nose-hook or wacky-hook position on the drop shot rig cast after cast; use Size 1 or Size 2 Light Wire for finesse drop shot applications on 6–8 lb fluorocarbon.
• Texas Rig — The plastic barb keeps the worm from sliding down the shank during the cast and retrieve through heavy cover; use Medium Wire sizes (1/0–4/0) matched to the worm size for standard Texas rig applications.
• Carolina Rig — Effective on a Carolina rig where the worm is exposed on a long leader; the plastic barb keeps the worm in position during the long cast required for Carolina rig fishing; use Medium Wire sizes matched to the worm size.

The Gamakatsu Round Bend Treble Bronze Hooks are very sticky hooks.  They aren't the strongest hooks with only 1X strong wire, but the thin wire sticks better than a stronger hook.  

If you're fish are coming off once hooked, consider going to these and see the difference.  You may need to change your hook out more often because they get bent, but at least you landed the fish.

The BKK-VIPER-41 is a strong and shiny 4x treble hook designed with long and straight needle points and a very aggressive bend.

One of the techniques we targeted during the design of the BKK-VIPER-41 was topwater lurefishing. What we wanted to achieve with this hook was a lighter treble that would reduce its impact on the swimming action of the lure, at the same maximizing its penetration and holding power.

To reduce the overall weight of the hook and to make it stay closer to the lure we shortened the welded section of the treble, thereby also providing more flexibility to the structure.

The point is designed to maximize the hook-up rate when fishing topwater or when targeting fish that suck in the lure, while the aggressive shape of the bend ensures that the hook does not come off when the fish thrashes and jumps out of the water.

The BKK-VIPER-41 is coated in Bright Tin to resist even harsh saltwater environments and comes in a wide size range (6 to 6/0) to fit a huge array of lures, from small vibes to big SW stickbaits and poppers.
