The Avet HXJ 5/2 Raptor Plus MC is Avet's heavy-duty two-speed lever drag reel built for serious trophy big game fishing. CNC-machined from solid 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished in Avet's multi-color (MC) anodized coating, it pairs the narrow HXJ profile with the upgraded Raptor carbon fiber drag system — delivering massive, consistent drag pressure through extended battles with bluefin tuna, marlin, and other large offshore gamefish.

The 5.0:1 high gear lets you gain line on running fish and work lures efficiently. Drop into the 2.4:1 low gear when a trophy fish sounds or makes a deep run and you need maximum cranking power. Available in right and left hand retrieve. Made in California.
