The Duran's DFP Super Reel Clamp is fully precision machined out of billet aircraft grade 6061 Aluminum, and 100% made in the USA. Using state of the art CNC milling machines we take the block of aluminum and using various carbide cutters we bring the clamp to life.

This clamp is newest and most versatile clamp in today’s market with confirmed fitment on 40 plus reels it is a true universal clamp all in one.  The clamp is designed to be mounted on your rod and to be able to interchange reels without removing any screws or taking off the clamp.

Does NOT fit SX or MX series Avet reels.  Colored clamps are discontinued.

Mini Kit

The mini kit comes with smaller screw sets and a shallow dish for smaller diameter rods. Such as UC Rods, Calstar 800 and Seeker 270’s.

The Mini Super Clamp is the first clamp of its kind designed to fit smaller reels on skinnier rods. It fits reels that do not come with stock clamps where an aftermarket attachment is a necessity to mount on a deckhand rod. It fits the Lexa 300, Tranx 300, Avet SXJ(non raptor), Trinidad 12 and Trinidad 16NA to name a few. These reels do not come with a stock clamp and have been an issue mounting on deckhand rods for years. With constant requests we took the challenge and now created a clamp for theses smaller reels. While the clamp is extremely versatile it has its limitations on the diameter rod it can be mounted on. The clamp is designed to fit rod diameters between 1 1/8″ – 7/8″ (28MM- 22MM) which is appropriate for the reel class size 10-25lb rods. Some rod examples are Seeker 196,270, Calstar 800XL, 800L Phenix M1.

Specifications

If you need a cover for your spinning, conventional, or bait casting reel, the Shimano Reel Cover fits all Shimano reels but also other brands as well. It's made of neoprene material which will protect your reel from scratches and blemishes. These reel covers fit both right and left hand reels.

The padding is sufficient enough to protect it but thin enough so that it's not bulky. It attaches with a premium velcro strap and has vented holes to allow for moisture to escape.

As with all the models, they can be attached to your reel and remain on the rod. The spinning version actually wraps around the rod keeping it and your reel secure and safe. These fit both left and right hand reels but the logo may be upside down on left handed reels. Shimano puts a "1" on the left hand reels model number to indicate they are left handed. For example, the right hand is a Tranx 400 is left hand and the 401. Wondering what size you need for your reel, check out the information below.

The medium round cover will fit Shimano 300 size and 400 size Curado and Tranx reels but it will be loose fitting. As of February 2024, Shimano doesn't make a cover to fit these reels tightly.

Stick Jacket Casting rod sleeves work great for protecting your rod from scratches, broken guides, and tangles.  The sleeve slips over your rod with ease and keeps the line from catching on other rods.  

It acts like a trap and hold tight to the rod until you want to take it off.  The brass grommet on the end allows you to hang it up on the wall without falling out (without the reel.)

• If you're unsure whether your reel is a standard or narrow spool, check the model number. Any model ending in N (e.g., 500N, 600NN) requires the Narrow clamp. Standard models without the N suffix take the regular clamp.
• Apply a small amount of anti-seize compound to the mounting studs before installation — it makes removal much easier after extended salt exposure and prevents the hardware from galling over time.
• Inspect the clamp hardware annually, especially on reels that see heavy drag pressure regularly. The studs and nuts are the weak point — if they show corrosion or wear, replace the kit before your next offshore trip.

How do I know if I need the Narrow or Standard clamp?
If your reel model number includes an N (e.g., 400N, 500N, 600NN), you need the Narrow version. Standard models without an N suffix take the standard clamp. If you're still unsure, contact us with your reel model number and we'll confirm.

Aquateko's Knot 2 Kinky Nickel Leader Wire is made with a special superelastic alloy, allowing it to be bent at least ten times more without permanent deformation. Its unique formula of Nickel and Titanium creates a high degree of elasticity and strength that can endure even the toughest battles with fish.

Tackle Express Tips

• Use both pieces of the knot puller simultaneously for FG knots — one on the braid tag end, one on the leader. You'll get a noticeably tighter, more consistent finish than pulling by hand or with gloves.
• Keep one clipped to your tackle bag zipper on a lanyard. It's the kind of tool you always know where it is until you don't bring it — then you miss it every rig.
• The rubber coating works better dry. If your hands are wet, give the puller a quick wipe before pulling down on heavy fluorocarbon so the line seats cleanly against the grip surface.

FAQ

What sizes does the Accurate Knot Puller come in?
Accurate makes the knot puller in a 3" and 4" version. The 4" is stocked here. If you need the 3" version, contact us and we can check availability.

Can I use this for braid-to-leader connections?
Yes — it works well for any line-to-line or line-to-hook connection where you need to apply pulling tension to seat the knot. The rubber-coated grip surface gives the line traction so you can pull fully without it cutting into your skin.

How do I attach it to my gear so I don't lose it?
There's a hole at the top of the knot puller designed for a keyring or lanyard. Most anglers clip it to a tackle bag, rod holder, or belt loop so it's accessible without digging through a tray mid-trip.

The Stick Jacket XL Casting model fits rods up to 8-1/2' Long and 3-7/8" round.  We like these sleeves because they are easy to put on and take off, protect the rod and guides, and can be color coordinated so you know which rod is which.  The grommet at the tip allows you to hang your rod, the sleeve acts like a finger trap.  

All the covers are designed to stop short of the reel and in most cases the hook holder.  That way you can have a bait or lure tied on and it won't get caught in the sleeve.  We don't recommend putting the hook on the guides, you'll have a heck of a time getting it off if the hook gets in the sleeve.
