The Spro Prime Bucktail Jig is not like any other jig on the market. The unique shape of the head and placement of the eyelet help bring this lure to life. With bulging eyes, holographic finish, and blazing color, it puts fish at your mercy. The uniqueness of this bait is that it doesn’t fall or hang straight down like other bucktails. It glides through the water, almost swimming along. When jigged, its body stays almost parallel to the bottom maintaining a very natural appearance.
Like all SPRO products, Prime Bucktail Jigs are made with durable, super sharp Gamakatsu hooks. Once you fish it, you’ll know why SPRO is the shape of things to come. It’s hard to fish the Prime Bucktail wrong. It can be jigged off the bottom for weakfish, fluke, or other saltwater fish.
Cast it at schooling fish working it quickly back to the boat for cobia, stripers, snook, or dorado. Swim it along in freshwater for big bass and walleyes, or troll it for reservoir stripers. It’s hard to find somewhere that the Spro Prime Bucktail won’t work.

Luhr Jensen Krocodile Spoons have been a staple for many years. The fluttering action can entice fish to violently attack or just pick it up on the way down. The retrieve has a wobble action that mimics a baitfish while it flashes the different color patterns.
Each one of the Krocodile Lures comes with a tin covered hook and stainless swivel at the tie point. Great for bass, walleye, halibut, barricade, stripers, and many other fish.
The lure may or may not come with the pictured red blade on the rear.
Quantity 1 per package
Luhr Jensen Crippled Herring is highly effective at catching fish due to its spoon shape, which can be bent for a more unpredictable descent. This spoon is equally suitable for retrieving or vertical fishing, and is particularly successful when targeting fish schooling, at intermediate depths, or bounced off the bottom.

Round Ball Weights are lead ball sinkers for freshwater and saltwater fishing applications where a spherical sinker profile is preferred over flat or elongated sinker shapes. The round ball shape rolls naturally with current and bottom contour rather than digging in or snagging on rocks and structure, making it one of the most snag-resistant sinker shapes for fishing over mixed bottom. Compatible with Carolina rigs, float rigs, live bait rigs, and surf rigs. Available in 1–4 oz with pack count scaled to weight.
Note: If purchased online, Priority Mail shipping must be selected at checkout.
Key Features
- Round Ball Shape — Rolls with Current, Minimal Snag — The spherical profile rolls naturally with current and bottom contour rather than digging in or catching on rocks, structure, and debris the way flat, bank, or pyramid sinkers do; the round ball shape is one of the most snag-resistant sinker profiles for fishing over rocky, mixed, or irregular bottom; the rolling action also imparts a natural, drifting movement to the bait that can trigger strikes from fish that are following the bait along the bottom.
- Versatile Rig Compatibility — Compatible with the most common sinker rig configurations: Carolina rig (ball sinker threaded on the main line above a swivel and leader), float rig (ball sinker below a float to keep bait at depth), live bait rig (ball sinker to keep live bait at the desired depth in current), and surf rig (ball sinker for rolling presentations in the surf zone); the round profile threads easily onto monofilament and fluorocarbon line.
- Freshwater & Saltwater — Effective across both freshwater and saltwater applications; in freshwater, the round ball sinker is a standard Carolina rig component for bass, catfish, and panfish; in saltwater, it is used for live bait rigs, float rigs, and surf presentations for a wide range of inshore species.
- Pack Count Scaled to Weight — Pack count decreases as weight increases, keeping the total lead weight per pack roughly consistent: 1 oz (6-pack), 2 oz (4-pack), 3 oz (3-pack), 4 oz (2-pack).
Size & Pack Count Guide
| Weight | Pack Count | Best Application |
|---|---|---|
| 1 oz | 6-pack | Light current, shallow water, Carolina rig, float rig, panfish & bass |
| 2 oz | 4-pack | Moderate current, mid-depth, versatile freshwater & inshore saltwater |
| 3 oz | 3-pack | Stronger current, deeper water, live bait rigs, inshore saltwater |
| 4 oz | 2-pack | Heavy current, surf zone, deep inshore, larger live bait presentations |
Best For
- Carolina Rig — Bass & Freshwater — The round ball sinker is a standard Carolina rig component; thread the ball sinker on the main line above a barrel swivel, attach a fluorocarbon leader and soft plastic trailer, and drag along the bottom; the round shape rolls naturally over rocks and structure with fewer snags than bullet or bank sinkers in rocky bottom conditions.
- Float Rig — Live Bait at Depth — Use the ball sinker below a float to keep live bait at the desired depth in current; the round shape minimizes drag and allows the float rig to drift naturally with current without the sinker catching on bottom structure.
- Live Bait Rigs — Saltwater Inshore — The ball sinker keeps live bait (anchovies, sardines, mackerel) at the desired depth in current for inshore saltwater species; the round shape rolls with current rather than anchoring the bait in one spot, allowing the live bait to move naturally in the current.
- Surf Fishing — Heavier weights (3–4 oz) for surf fishing presentations where the ball sinker rolls with the wave action and current in the surf zone; effective for Barred Surfperch, Corbina, and other surf species that respond to a naturally drifting bait presentation.

The Lead Masters Swimbait Head in Red is the red version of the Lead Masters Swimbait Head, featuring a red powder coat finish that works as both a deep water color-absorption trigger and a shallow water attractor color. In deeper water (below 15–20 ft), red wavelengths are absorbed by the water column and the red head takes on a dark, high-contrast silhouette appearance — a proven trigger for Rockfish and other bottom species that key on dark-profiled prey. In shallow water, the red head mimics the color of crustaceans and wounded baitfish, triggering strikes from Calico Bass, surf species, and inshore predators. Features Mustad hooks and a durable powder coat finish. Hook size scales with weight across 8 sizes from 1/4 oz to 3 oz. 2 per pack.
Key Features
- Red Powder Coat — Deep Water Absorption & Shallow Water Attractor — Red is one of the most versatile jig head colors across depth ranges; in shallow water (0–15 ft), the red head is a proven attractor color that mimics crustaceans and wounded baitfish, triggering strikes from Calico Bass, surf species, and inshore predators; in deeper water (below 15–20 ft), red wavelengths are absorbed by the water column and the red head takes on a dark, high-contrast silhouette appearance that is highly visible to bottom-feeding Rockfish and other deep water species that key on dark-profiled prey.
- Mustad Hooks — Trusted Hook Quality — Mustad is one of the most recognized and trusted hook manufacturers in fishing; Mustad hooks provide consistent point sharpness, hook gap geometry, and wire strength for reliable hooksets on swimbait presentations across freshwater and saltwater species.
- Hook Size Matched to Weight — Hook size scales with jig weight across the full range: 2/0 for the 1/4–3/8 oz, 3/0 for the 1/2 oz, 4/0 for the 3/4–1 oz, and 6/0 for the 1.5–3 oz; matching hook size to swimbait size ensures the hook point exits at the correct position in the bait for a reliable hookset.
- Wide Weight Range — 1/4 oz to 3 oz — Eight weight options from 1/4 oz to 3 oz cover a wide range of depth, current, and swimbait size requirements; lighter weights (1/4–3/8 oz) for shallow inshore presentations, mid weights (1/2–3/4 oz) for versatile inshore applications, and heavier weights (1–3 oz) for deeper water, stronger current, and larger swimbaits.
- 2 Per Pack — Two jig heads per pack across all sizes.
Size Selection Guide
| Weight | Hook Size | Best Application |
|---|---|---|
| 1/4 oz | 2/0 | Shallow inshore, crustacean imitation, Calico Bass, light current |
| 3/8 oz | 2/0 | Shallow to mid-depth, versatile inshore, moderate current |
| 1/2 oz | 3/0 | Mid-depth inshore, moderate current, red absorption begins |
| 3/4 oz | 4/0 | Deeper water, stronger current, red silhouette effect active |
| 1 oz | 4/0 | Deep inshore, surf zone, red silhouette for bottom species |
| 1.5 oz | 6/0 | Heavy surf, deep nearshore rockfish, red silhouette at depth |
| 2 oz | 6/0 | Deep nearshore, strong current, large swimbaits |
| 3 oz | 6/0 | Maximum depth and current, deep water rockfish presentations |
Best For
- Rockfish — Deep Water Red Silhouette — The red head is particularly effective for Rockfish in deeper water where red wavelength absorption creates a dark, high-contrast silhouette; use heavier weights (1–3 oz) for getting the swimbait down to depth in rockfish territory; the red silhouette effect is most pronounced below 20 ft where red light is fully absorbed and the head appears as a dark, high-contrast profile against the water column.
- Calico Bass — Crustacean & Wounded Baitfish Trigger — In shallow water, the red head mimics the color of crustaceans and wounded baitfish that Calico Bass key on around kelp and structure; lighter weights (1/4–1/2 oz) for shallow Calico Bass presentations with small to mid-size swimbaits; the red head is a proven Calico Bass trigger color in both clear and stained water conditions.
- Surf Fishing — Heavier weights (1–3 oz) for surf fishing with large paddle tail swimbaits; the red head is effective for Barred Surfperch, Corbina, and other surf species that key on crustacean-colored presentations in the surf zone.
- Versatile Depth Range — The dual-action red head — attractor in shallow water, silhouette trigger in deep water — makes it one of the most versatile colors in the swimbait head lineup; effective from the surface to deep water without needing to change head color as depth increases.
The Lead Masters Swimbait Head in Yellow is the high-visibility version of the Lead Masters Swimbait Head, featuring a yellow powder coat finish that provides maximum visibility in stained water, turbid conditions, and low-light environments where natural or white head colors lose effectiveness. The yellow head is a proven attractor color for Yellowtail, Calico Bass, and surf species that key on high-contrast, high-visibility presentations. Features Mustad hooks and a durable powder coat finish. Hook size scales with weight across 8 sizes from 1/4 oz to 3 oz. 2 per pack.
Key Features
- Yellow Powder Coat — High-Visibility Attractor Color — Yellow is the highest-visibility color in the swimbait head lineup; the yellow head is most effective in stained and turbid water where natural or white head colors lose visibility, in low-light conditions where a bright head color provides a visible target, and as an attractor color that triggers reaction strikes from Yellowtail, Calico Bass, and other species that key on high-contrast presentations; yellow is also effective in clear water as an attractor color when fish are not responding to natural presentations.
- Wide Weight Range — 1/4 oz to 3 oz — Eight weight options from 1/4 oz to 3 oz cover a wide range of depth, current, and swimbait size requirements; lighter weights (1/4–3/8 oz) for shallow water and finesse presentations, mid weights (1/2–3/4 oz) for versatile inshore applications, and heavier weights (1–3 oz) for deeper water, stronger current, and larger swimbaits.
- 2 Per Pack — Two jig heads per pack across all sizes.

| Weight | Hook Size | Best Application |
|---|---|---|
| 1/4 oz | 2/0 | Shallow water, finesse swimbaits, small paddle tails, light current |
| 3/8 oz | 2/0 | Versatile shallow to mid-depth, moderate current |
| 1/2 oz | 3/0 | Mid-depth inshore, moderate current, stained water |
| 3/4 oz | 4/0 | Deeper water, stronger current, larger swimbaits |
| 1 oz | 4/0 | Deep inshore, surf zone, large paddle tails |
| 1.5 oz | 6/0 | Heavy surf, deep nearshore, large swimbait trailers |
| 2 oz | 6/0 | Deep nearshore, strong current, large swimbaits |
| 3 oz | 6/0 | Maximum depth and current, large offshore swimbait presentations |
Best For
- Stained & Turbid Water — The primary advantage of the yellow head; yellow remains highly visible in off-color water where natural and white head colors lose effectiveness; the high-contrast yellow head provides a visible target for fish in stained water conditions where reduced light penetration limits the effectiveness of natural color presentations.
- Yellowtail — Yellow is a proven Yellowtail trigger color; the yellow head paired with a matching or contrasting swimbait trailer is effective for Yellowtail on jig presentations; use heavier weights (1–3 oz) for getting the bait down to depth where Yellowtail are holding.
- Calico Bass — Attractor Presentations — Yellow is an effective attractor color for Calico Bass around kelp and structure, particularly in low-light conditions and stained water; the high-visibility yellow head triggers reaction strikes from Calico Bass that are not responding to natural color presentations.
- Surf Fishing — Heavier weights (1–3 oz) for surf fishing with large paddle tail swimbaits; the yellow head is highly visible in the turbid, aerated water of the surf zone where natural colors are less effective; effective for Barred Surfperch, Corbina, and other surf species that key on high-visibility presentations.
- Low-Light & Dawn/Dusk — The yellow head provides a high-visibility profile during dawn and dusk when light levels are low and fish are actively feeding; effective as a transition color between the glow head (night) and natural/white head (full daylight) presentations.
The Lead Masters Swimbait Head Glow is the glow version of the Lead Masters Swimbait Head, featuring high-intensity, long-lasting glow paint that charges under UV light or a flashlight and emits a bright luminescent glow that is visible to fish in low-light conditions, at depth, and in turbid water. The smaller sizes (1/4–3 oz) include a molded red eye for added visual attraction. All sizes feature 2X strong Mustad hooks for reliable hooksets on large game fish. Charge the head before each drop for maximum glow intensity. Available in 9 sizes from 1/4 oz to 8 oz.
Key Features
- High-Intensity Glow Paint — Long-Lasting & Bright — The glow paint on the Lead Masters Swimbait Head Glow is among the brightest and longest-lasting in the swimbait head category; charge the head under a UV light or flashlight before each drop for maximum glow intensity and duration at depth; the glow is most effective during night fishing, in deep water below the thermocline where light penetration is minimal, and in turbid or stained water where standard painted heads lose visibility.
- Molded Red Eye — Visual Trigger (1/4–3 oz) — The smaller sizes (1/4 oz through 3 oz) include a molded red eye that provides a visual focal point and mimics the eye of a baitfish; the red eye combined with the glow head creates a highly visible, lifelike presentation that triggers strikes from predatory fish in low-light conditions; the 6 oz and 8 oz sizes do not include a molded eye (labeled “No Eye”).
- 2X Strong Mustad Hooks — All sizes feature 2X strong Mustad hooks that provide the wire strength needed to handle large game fish on swimbait presentations; Mustad is one of the most trusted hook manufacturers in fishing; the 2X strong construction resists bending and straightening on hard hooksets and during the fight with large fish.
- Hook Size Matched to Weight — Hook size scales with jig weight across the full range: 2/0 for the 1/4–3/8 oz, 3/0 for the 1/2 oz, 4/0 for the 3/4–1 oz, 6/0 for the 1.5–3 oz, and 10/0 for the 6–8 oz; the 10/0 hook on the 6 and 8 oz sizes is sized for large saltwater swimbait presentations targeting big game species.
- Pack Count by Size — 1/4–3/4 oz: 2 per pack. 1–8 oz: 1 per pack.

| 8 oz | 10/0 | No Eye | 1-pack | Maximum depth and current, large offshore big game presentations |
Best For
- Night Fishing — The primary application for the glow swimbait head; charge the head under a UV light or flashlight before each drop; the high-intensity glow is most effective during night fishing when predatory fish are actively feeding in low-light conditions and the glow head provides a visible target that standard painted heads cannot match.
- Deep Water — Below the Thermocline — Heavier weights (1.5–8 oz) for deep water fishing below the thermocline where light penetration is minimal; the glow head provides visibility at depth that a standard painted head loses; most effective for deep water Rockfish, Lingcod, and other bottom species that respond to glow presentations.
- Calico Bass & Inshore Saltwater — Lighter weights (1/4–3/4 oz) for Calico Bass and inshore species during low-light conditions around kelp and structure; the glow head and red eye combination is a proven trigger for Calico Bass during dawn, dusk, and night fishing.
- Turbid & Stained Water — The glow paint provides visibility in turbid and stained water where standard painted heads lose effectiveness; the luminescent glow is visible to fish even in off-color water conditions where light penetration is reduced.
The Lead Masters Swimbait Head Plain is the uncoated, bare lead version of the Lead Masters Swimbait Head — no powder coat, no paint, just plain lead. The natural silver-grey lead finish mimics the lateral line and belly color of baitfish in a way that a painted head cannot, and the bare lead surface reflects light differently than a coated head, producing subtle flash and color variation as the jig moves through the water. Features Mustad hooks for reliable hooksets across freshwater and saltwater applications. Hook size scales with weight from 2/0 through 10/0 across 9 sizes from 1/4 oz to 6 oz. 2 per pack (6 oz is 1 per pack).
Key Features
- Uncoated Bare Lead — Natural Baitfish Profile — The plain lead finish is the defining feature of this swimbait head; no powder coat, no paint — just the natural silver-grey color of bare lead; the uncoated lead surface mimics the lateral line and belly color of anchovy, sardine, and other common baitfish; the bare lead also reflects light differently than a coated head, producing subtle flash and color variation as the jig moves and changes angle through the water column; most effective in clear water where fish can inspect the jig head closely and a natural, uncoated profile is preferred.
- Hook Size Matched to Weight — Hook size scales with jig weight across the full range: 2/0 for the 1/4–3/8 oz, 3/0 for the 1/2 oz, 4/0 for the 3/4–1 oz, 6/0 for the 1.5–2 oz, and 10/0 for the 3–6 oz; the 10/0 hook on the 3 and 6 oz sizes is sized for large saltwater swimbait presentations targeting big game species.
- Wide Weight Range — 1/4 oz to 6 oz — Nine weight options from 1/4 oz to 6 oz cover a wide range of depth, current, and swimbait size requirements; lighter weights (1/4–3/8 oz) for shallow water and finesse presentations, mid weights (1/2–1 oz) for versatile inshore and freshwater applications, and heavier weights (1.5–6 oz) for deeper water, stronger current, and large saltwater swimbait presentations.
- Freshwater & Saltwater — Effective across both freshwater and saltwater applications; the plain lead finish is particularly effective in clear water conditions in both environments where a natural, uncoated head profile outperforms painted heads.
- 2 Per Pack (6 oz: 1 Per Pack) — Two jig heads per pack for all sizes except the 6 oz, which is sold individually.
Size Selection Guide

| 3 oz | 10/0 | 2-pack | Large saltwater swimbaits, deep water, big game species |
| 6 oz | 10/0 | 1-pack | Maximum depth and current, large offshore swimbait presentations |
Best For
- Clear Water — Natural Uncoated Profile — The primary advantage of the plain lead head; most effective in clear water where fish can inspect the jig head closely and the natural silver-grey lead color provides a more realistic baitfish profile than a painted or powder-coated head; the bare lead surface reflects light naturally and produces subtle flash that a coated head cannot replicate.
- Paddle Tail & Swimbait Presentations — Rig a paddle tail swimbait or shad-style soft plastic on the plain swimbait head and retrieve steadily; the uncoated head lets the swimbait’s color and action take center stage without a painted head color competing with the trailer.
- Calico Bass & Inshore Saltwater — Effective for Calico Bass, Halibut, and inshore species with paddle tail swimbaits in clear water; the plain lead finish is a proven inshore swimbait head option when fish are pressured and a natural presentation is needed.
- Large Saltwater Species — 3 & 6 oz — The 3 oz and 6 oz sizes with 10/0 hooks are purpose-built for large saltwater swimbait presentations targeting big game species in deep water and strong current; the 10/0 hook provides the hook gap and wire strength needed for large fish.
The Lead Masters Swimbait Head in White is a purpose-built jig head for rigging paddle tail swimbaits, shad-style soft plastics, and large swimbait trailers across freshwater and saltwater applications. Features Mustad hooks — one of the most trusted hook brands in fishing — and a durable white powder coat finish that provides a natural baitfish belly profile that doesn’t distract from the swimbait trailer’s action and color. The white head is most effective in clear water where fish can inspect the jig head closely and a natural, understated head color is preferred. Hook size scales with weight across 9 sizes from 3/16 oz to 3 oz. 2 per pack.

- Mustad Hooks — Trusted Hook Quality — Mustad is one of the most recognized and trusted hook manufacturers in fishing; Mustad hooks are known for consistent point sharpness, hook gap geometry, and wire strength; the Mustad hook on the Swimbait Head White provides reliable hooksets on paddle tail swimbait presentations across freshwater and saltwater species.
- White Powder Coat — Natural Baitfish Profile — The white powder coat provides a more durable finish than standard paint and mimics the belly color of anchovy, sardine, and other common baitfish; the white head is most effective in clear water where fish can inspect the jig head closely and a natural, low-visibility head color is preferred over a painted or colored head; the white head also functions as a neutral base that complements any swimbait trailer color without competing with the trailer’s action.
- Hook Size Matched to Weight — Hook size scales with jig weight across the full range: 2/0 for the 3/16–3/8 oz, 3/0 for the 1/2 oz, 4/0 for the 3/4–1 oz, and 6/0 for the 1.5–3 oz; matching hook size to swimbait size ensures the hook point exits at the correct position in the bait for a reliable hookset.
- Wide Weight Range — 3/16 oz to 3 oz — Nine weight options from 3/16 oz to 3 oz cover a wide range of depth, current, and swimbait size requirements; lighter weights (3/16–3/8 oz) for shallow water and finesse swimbait presentations, mid weights (1/2–3/4 oz) for versatile inshore and freshwater applications, and heavier weights (1–3 oz) for deeper water, stronger current, and larger swimbaits.
- Freshwater & Saltwater — Effective across both freshwater and saltwater applications; the full weight range covers freshwater bass swimbait fishing through inshore and surf swimbait presentations for Calico Bass, Halibut, and other saltwater species.
- 2 Per Pack — Two jig heads per pack; provides a backup when fishing structure where snags and losses are common.

Best For
- Paddle Tail & Shad-Style Swimbaits — The primary application; rig a paddle tail swimbait or shad-style soft plastic on the swimbait head and retrieve steadily to activate the trailer’s tail kick; the white head provides a natural base that lets the swimbait’s color and action do the work without a distracting painted head color.
- Clear Water — Natural Presentation — The white head is most effective in clear water where fish can inspect the jig head closely; the natural white color mimics the belly of common baitfish and doesn’t alert fish to the presence of the jig head the way a brightly colored head might in clear water conditions.
- Calico Bass & Inshore Saltwater — Effective for Calico Bass, Halibut, and inshore species with paddle tail swimbaits; the white head is a proven inshore swimbait head color in clear water conditions around kelp and structure.
- Freshwater Bass Swimbait Fishing — Lighter weights (3/16–3/8 oz) for freshwater bass swimbait fishing with small to mid-size paddle tails; the white head is a proven swimbait head color for clear water bass fishing where a natural, low-visibility head is preferred.
Lead Masters Glow Egg Sinkers have one of the best glow paints we've seen. They absorb the light quickly and stay lit for a long time. The smooth surface inside the sinker won't damage your line.
These are great for night fishing or for fish that are attracted to light. We've noticed that many time in low light or in deep water, the glow of an egg sinker is enough to bring fish from a long way off and tends to get them to bite better than a regular egg sinker.
Tie one of this on for your next trip, the Lead Masters Glow Egg Sinker may make the difference between no fish and lots of fish.

The Big Hammer Perch Grub is a compact, versatile soft grub built for anglers who fish both salt and fresh water. At 1.75 inches, it's the right size for a wide range of species — from surf perch, halibut, corbina, and croaker in the surf zone to crappie, bass, panfish, and smallmouth in freshwater lakes and rivers. It also works well on smaller saltwater bass and shallow rockfish when fish are keying on smaller forage.
Rig it on a light jig head and work it slowly through the surf, along structure, or over shallow flats. The grub tail produces a natural, pulsing action on the retrieve that draws strikes even from finicky fish.
