Pro Tips

The XRMAG-15's smaller profile pairs best with 40–50 lb line — lighter line allows the lure to swim and track better, maximizing its action. Trolling at 7–8 knots is the sweet spot. If hooks dull, sharpen them; if replacement is necessary, use VMC hooks matched to the original spec.

The Spro Heavy Swivel is made like no other swivel we've seen.  The inline design keeps everything where is should be without any slop or movement.  It's great for trolling and keeps the lure in a better track than a normal swivel.  The ratings are very strong, especially for the size of the swivel.  You'll see that it is much smaller than other swivels with similar ratings. 

The anti-corrosive makeup of the swivel means that you can fish it for many trips without it failing, however we do recommend rinsing it off after saltwater use.  The holes where your lines goes through as well as the edges of the swivel are rounded so chaffing won't weaken or break you line.  If you haven't used this swivel yet, it's time to upgrade to the Spro Heavy Swivel.
