The Berkley Krej 100 does something no other jerkbait does: it rises on the work and slides backward on the pause. That unique ascending-then-back-sliding action — called "krejing" — keeps the bait in the strike zone longer and gives you a level of control that traditional jerkbaits simply can't match. It's a bait built with Forward Facing Sonar in mind, letting you watch the lure's movement in real time and dial in your cadence to match exactly what the fish want.

We like the larger flared out portion that goes around your neck.  It can be tucked into your shirt so the sun won't burn you as you move around and the mask changes positions.  We find they aren't too tight on the face and they are the most comfortable we've used.

This is a medium wire hook so it's diameter makes it ideal for medium grade fish.  If the wire is too small, it will bend out causing a lost fish.  If it's too large in diameter, it will kill the bait and is harder to hook into the fishes mouth.  

They have a sharp offset point and a Super Slide (SS) coating that helps with faster hookups and easier bait rigging. The hooks are also made with BKK's proprietary Hyper Carbon Steel wire, which is 25% stronger and 30% harder than traditional high carbon steels.

The Billfisher Krok Stainless Steel Snap Swivel is strong and small.  The design of the snap allows for a higher test in a smaller swivel.  The dramatic bend at the end of the snap makes it pull in line with the swivel more so it's less likely to bend out.  The steel used in the swivel is of the highest quality making it extremely strong.  You can trust these swivels, we do every time we tie one on.
