This Rapala Lock 'n Hold Rod Rack has long lasting plastic jaws hold a variety of rod sizes without deforming or damaging the blank. They work great for hanging in the garage, shed, or a room in the house.  Each set comes with a bottom for the butt section of the rods and a top section for the mid to upper section.  We recommend having the upper section near the middle of the rod where it is stronger.  When the rod clicks into place, please be careful not to put too much strain on it.  Once clicked in, it will be very secure and will not come out easily.

FAQ

What's the difference between the 5106 and 5306?
Same hook, different pack size. The 5106 is a standard single pack; the 5306 is the pro pack with significantly more hooks per package at a better per-hook value.

How does this compare to the Ringed Flyliner?
The non-ringed version ties direct to the hook eye for the lowest-profile connection. The ringed version (5106R/5306R) has a welded ring on the eye that gives the bait more freedom of movement and creates a pivot point on the bite — some anglers prefer it for larger baits or when fish are short-striking.

What size should I use for anchovies?
Size 6–8 for small anchovies, Size 2–4 for medium, and Size 1 or 1/0 for large anchovies. When in doubt, go smaller — a hook that's too large will drag the bait down and reduce its swimming action.
