Control Your Spread. Miss Fewer Fish.
The AFTCO Roller Troller Outrigger Clips give you something most outrigger clips can't: the ability to reel line directly through the clip without removing it. Position your lure exactly where you want it by simply reeling in or letting out line — the line rides on a silky-smooth AFLON™-treated roller that won't nick or weaken your leader. When a fish strikes, AFTCO's precision-engineered latching system releases at exactly the same pull every time, so you get consistent hookups and fewer broken rigs.
Precision That Pays Off on the Water
Inconsistent release tension is one of the most common causes of missed strikes and broken gear. The Roller Troller's improved micro-tension adjustment is positive and sensitive across a wide range of settings — once you dial it in, the latch releases at the same force on every strike. That repeatability means you can fine-tune your spread for different lure weights, trolling speeds, and target species without second-guessing your setup.
Why Outrigger Clip Quality Matters
A cheap clip that releases too early causes false drops and wasted time re-rigging. One that's too stiff delays the hookset and costs you fish. The Roller Troller sits in the sweet spot — adjustable enough to handle everything from light ballyhoo rigs to heavy lures, and reliable enough that you can trust it trip after trip. The AFLON™ bearing handles constant friction without wearing down, even in saltwater conditions.
The Right Pick If...
- You want to adjust lure position without removing the clip from the outrigger line

Tackle Express Tips
- Match tension to lure weight: Heavier lures need more tension to prevent false drops from wave action. Start light and increase until you stop getting premature releases.
- Use both clips symmetrically: Set both clips to the same tension so your port and starboard lines drop at the same time on a double strike — critical when targeting billfish.
- Rinse after every trip: The AFLON bearing is built to last, but a quick freshwater rinse after saltwater use keeps the roller spinning freely and extends the life of the clip.
FAQ
Can I adjust lure position without taking the clip off the outrigger line?
Yes — that's one of the Roller Troller's key advantages. Simply reel in or let out line and it feeds right through the clip on the roller. No need to drop the outrigger or re-rig.
Is this compatible with kite fishing setups?
Yes. The Roller Troller Outrigger Clip works well for kite fishing applications where adjustable, consistent release tension is important. The micro-tension adjustment lets you dial in the right setting for kite line conditions.
How is this different from the Flat Line Clip?
The Outrigger Clip is designed for use on outrigger and kite lines, where the line runs through the clip at an angle from above. The Flat Line Clip is designed for stern flat lines trolled at a lower angle. Both use the same AFLON roller and micro-tension system, but are configured for different positions in the spread.
Keep Your Lines Down and Your Lures Working
When you're trolling from the stern, line angle is everything. The AFTCO Roller Troller Flat Line Clip puts your flat lines into the water at a lower, more productive angle — keeping lures below the surface where they run true, reducing tangles with other lines, and delivering instant, clean releases the moment a fish strikes. No hesitation, no missed hookups.
Engineered for Offshore Punishment
This isn't a clip you'll be replacing every season. The Roller Troller is built around a stainless steel roller with an AFLON™-treated bearing that handles the constant friction of trolling without wearing down. The 135-lb coated stainless steel cable and heavy-duty snap swivel are rated for the biggest fish you're likely to encounter. Micro-tension adjustment lets you dial in the release sensitivity for different lure weights and sea conditions.
Why Flat Line Angle Matters
Lines trolled at a steep angle create drag, reduce lure action, and are more likely to tangle with outrigger lines. A flat line clip solves all three problems — your lures run deeper, swim more naturally, and stay separated from the spread. When a fish hits, the clip snaps open instantly so you're fighting the fish, not the clip.
The Right Pick If...
- You're running a multi-line trolling spread and need clean line separation
- You want a release clip that won't prematurely pop or fail to release
- You're targeting big-game species that require a solid, reliable setup
- You need adjustable tension to match different lure weights and conditions

Tackle Express Tips
- Start with lighter tension: When first setting up, dial the micro-tension to the lighter end and work up. A clip that's too tight can delay the release and cost you a fish.
- Position matters: Mount your flat line clip as close to the water as practical — the lower the angle, the better your lure action and the less chance of tangling with outrigger lines.
- Inspect the cable regularly: Even coated stainless can show wear after heavy use. Check the cable and snap swivel before each trip and replace if you see fraying or corrosion.
FAQ
How does the micro-tension adjustment work?
The tension adjustment controls how much force is needed to pop the clip open on a strike. Lighter tension is better for smaller lures or when targeting fish that hit softly; heavier tension works better for large lures or high-speed trolling where wave action might cause false releases.
Can I use this clip with both lures and rigged baits?
Yes. The adjustable tension makes it versatile for both high-speed lures and slower-trolled rigged baits like ballyhoo or mackerel. Just adjust the tension to match the lure weight and trolling speed.
Is this sold as a single clip or a pair?
The AFTCO Roller Troller Flat Line Clip is sold individually — 1 clip per pack. Order two if you're running flat lines on both sides of the stern.
The AFTCO Goldfinger Outrigger release clip should be attached directly to the outrigger halyard without the use of swivels. The adjustment-slider end of the clip needs to be "up" towards the tip of the outrigger. For fixed position bait trolling, the fishing line should be twisted 5 to 10 times before hooking loop over the clip's bail. The line may also be passed over the bail without twists to allow for adjustment of baits or lures.

The Mustad 3X O'Shaughnessy Bronze Live Bait Hook 94151-BR is the base line when it comes to saltwater fishing. This same hook has been used for decades and is probably responsible for more fish hitting the deck than any other. Some believe that the more they rust, they better they stay in the fishes mouth. Just run a hook sharpener over the point now and again and she'll keep producing.
This 50 pack of fishing hooks is perfect if you want a great hook at bulk pricing. If you're fishing with friends or on a party boat, there will be plenty to go around with so many hooks at such a good price.
Remember to match your hook to the size of the bait you are using, not necessarily to the size of fish you are targeting.
The Cork Puppy Reel Clamp is designed for west coast jig fishermen and long-cast anglers using deckhand-style rods with no reel seat. These rods require a rod clamp to mount the reel, and the Cork Puppy solves that problem cleanly — locking the reel in place without twisting, turning, or crushing the blank, in a low-profile design that keeps the setup comfortable and balanced for longer casts.
Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with type II anodizing. Available in three sizes measured by the rod's diameter at the intended mount point.
Key Features
- Locks reel in place — won't twist or turn

The Leader That Fights Back
When finicky tuna and billfish are refusing everything else, the Aftco Saiko Pro Fluorocarbon Leader Line is the edge serious anglers reach for. Made from a 100% custom formula fluorocarbon manufactured in Japan, Saiko Pro is engineered for real-world performance — not just lab numbers. It's supple enough to tie clean knots, hard enough to resist the roughest structure, and strong enough to hold when it matters most.
Built for the Talica Series — and Every Big-Game Setup
Saiko Pro delivers industry-leading tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and break energy ratings across the full range from 12lb to 300lb test. Whether you're rigging up for yellowfin, white seabass, or blue marlin, there's a Saiko Pro size built for the job. The 12–80lb range is available in both Clear and Pink; 100–300lb is available in Clear.
Why Leader Material Actually Matters
Most fluorocarbon weakens after contact with structure, teeth, or gill plates. Saiko Pro is up to 20% stronger after abrasion than leading competitors — a critical difference when you're fighting a fish that's already tested your gear. The knot and crimp strength is unmatched, and the AFTCO SecureSpool™ system keeps your leader organized and tangle-free between trips.
Clear vs. Pink — Which to Choose
Clear is the go-to for most conditions — low visibility, high clarity water, and pressured fish. Pink shines in cloudy or stained water where it can actually reduce visibility at depth. Many offshore anglers keep both on hand and match to conditions.
The Right Pick If...
- You're targeting tuna, billfish, or inshore species that leader-shy
- You need a leader that holds up to structure, teeth, and repeated use
- You want a premium Japan-made fluorocarbon with proven offshore credentials
- You're rigging with crimps or tying direct — Saiko Pro handles both
Best Fishing Techniques
- Chunking and live bait for tuna and billfish
- Slow-pitch and vertical jigging with fluorocarbon top shots
- Inshore live bait rigs for white seabass and yellowtail

Tackle Express Tips
- Match your leader to your main line: For braid-to-fluoro connections, use an FG knot or PR bobbin knot for maximum strength and a slim profile through the guides.
- Go heavier in structure: When fishing near kelp, rocks, or the boat hull, bump up one or two line classes — the abrasion resistance will pay off.
- Pink in the chop: On overcast days or in green water, the pink color diffuses at depth and can actually be less visible to fish than clear. Don't overlook it.
FAQ
What's the difference between the Clear and Pink versions?
Both are the same custom fluorocarbon formula. Pink is designed for cloudy or stained water conditions where it becomes less visible at depth. Clear is the standard choice for most offshore and inshore applications.
Can I use Saiko Pro with crimps?
Yes — AFTCO specifically engineered Saiko Pro for both knotted and crimped applications. The knot and crimp strength is one of its standout features, making it ideal for big-game rigs in the 100–300lb range.
Is Saiko Pro suitable for inshore fishing?
Absolutely. While it's built for offshore performance, the 12–30lb range is excellent for white seabass, yellowtail, and other inshore species that are leader-shy in clear water.

The Duran's DFP Super Reel Clamp is fully precision machined out of billet aircraft grade 6061 Aluminum, and 100% made in the USA. Using state of the art CNC milling machines we take the block of aluminum and using various carbide cutters we bring the clamp to life.
This clamp is newest and most versatile clamp in today’s market with confirmed fitment on 40 plus reels it is a true universal clamp all in one. The clamp is designed to be mounted on your rod and to be able to interchange reels without removing any screws or taking off the clamp.
Does NOT fit SX or MX series Avet reels. Colored clamps are discontinued.
Mini Kit
The mini kit comes with smaller screw sets and a shallow dish for smaller diameter rods. Such as UC Rods, Calstar 800 and Seeker 270’s.
Large Kit
The large kit comes with longer screw sizes and a deeper dish for larger diameter rods. Such as Seeker Uluas, 6480’s, 540’s, Phenix HAF, and most 9-10ft jig sticks
The Mini Super Clamp is the first clamp of its kind designed to fit smaller reels on skinnier rods. It fits reels that do not come with stock clamps where an aftermarket attachment is a necessity to mount on a deckhand rod. It fits the Lexa 300, Tranx 300, Avet SXJ(non raptor), Trinidad 12 and Trinidad 16NA to name a few. These reels do not come with a stock clamp and have been an issue mounting on deckhand rods for years. With constant requests we took the challenge and now created a clamp for theses smaller reels. While the clamp is extremely versatile it has its limitations on the diameter rod it can be mounted on. The clamp is designed to fit rod diameters between 1 1/8″ – 7/8″ (28MM- 22MM) which is appropriate for the reel class size 10-25lb rods. Some rod examples are Seeker 196,270, Calstar 800XL, 800L Phenix M1.
Mini Super Clamp Kit Fits:
Shimano: Tranx 300 and 500, Trinidad 10-20 and 16NA, Torium 14-20.
Daiwa: Lexa 300, Saltiga 10-400, Saltist 15-40.
Avet: SXJ (for raptor model must purchase our Avet Replacement Reel Foot)
Keep Your Big Game Jig in the Water
Hookup Baits are hand-crafted in San Diego and built around a simple idea: shape, color, and action working together to trigger more bites. When the soft body wears out — and it will, because fish are eating it — you don't need to replace the whole jig. These replacement bodies snap onto your existing 1oz or 1.5oz Big Game jig head and you're back in the spread in seconds. Five bodies per pack means you're covered for a full trip.
Designed in San Diego, Built for What's Biting
Hookup Baits designs and manufactures all their products in San Diego, CA. The Big Game body profile is engineered to mimic the baitfish that yellowtail, tuna, and calico bass are actually feeding on — anchovies, sardines, and other local forage. The jig can be cast, jigged vertically, or trolled, giving you maximum versatility across techniques and conditions.
When Your Body Wears Out Before the Fish Do
Soft plastic bodies take a beating — from fish, from rocks, from repeated casts. Buying replacement bodies instead of whole new jigs saves money and keeps your proven jig head in rotation. If you've already dialed in the right color and action for your local bite, these bodies let you stay on that setup without starting over.
Pick Your Color for the Conditions
- Red Crab — high-contrast attractor color, great in low-vis or stained water
- Chovy — anchovy-match profile, a go-to when 'chovies are the primary forage
- Sardine Green — natural sardine imitation, effective in clear water and bright conditions
- Pearl White — versatile, high-flash color that works across species and conditions
- Mint — subtle, translucent color for pressured fish and clear water
Three Ways to Fish It
- Cast and retrieve — work the body like a swimbait along kelp edges and structure
- Vertical jigging — drop to the mark and work it up through the water column
- Trolling — pull it behind the boat to cover water and locate fish
Best Conditions
- Inshore and nearshore saltwater — kelp beds, rocky structure, and open water
- Offshore pelagic fishing when fish are keyed on baitfish
- Any situation where matching the local forage profile gives you an edge
Best For
- Yellowtail and calico bass on cast-and-retrieve presentations
- Bluefin and yellowfin tuna on vertical jigs and trolling

How to Replace the Body
Watch the official Hookup Baits tutorial below for a step-by-step walkthrough on swapping out the soft body on your Big Game jig head.
Tackle Express Tips
- Match body color to the forage — Chovy and Sardine Green when anchovies or sardines are the primary bait, Pearl White or Mint when fish are less keyed on a specific color.
- Keep a few extra bodies in your tackle bag on every trip. Bodies wear out fast when fish are biting — having spares means you never have to slow down.
- Red Crab is a sleeper color for calico bass around kelp — don't overlook it when the standard baitfish colors aren't producing.

Step Up the Size, Keep the Action
Hookup Baits are hand-crafted in San Diego and engineered around shape, color, and action — the three things that actually trigger bites. The Large body is the middle ground in the Hookup Baits lineup: bigger than the Medium for more water displacement and a larger profile, but sized for the versatile 3/8oz, 5/8oz, and HUB Bullet jig heads that cover a wide range of inshore and nearshore situations. When the body wears out, swap it onto your existing jig head and you're back fishing in seconds. Five bodies per pack keeps you covered all day.
The Right Fit for Your Jig Head
These bodies are designed specifically for Hookup Baits 3/8oz, 5/8oz, and HUB Bullet jig heads. Like all Hookup Baits products, the Large body can be cast, jigged vertically, or trolled.

FAQ
What jig heads do these bodies fit?
These replacement bodies are designed specifically for Hookup Baits 3/8oz, 5/8oz, and HUB Bullet jig heads. For smaller jig heads, see the Medium Replacement Bodies. For larger offshore jig heads, see the Big Game Replacement Bodies.
How many bodies come in a pack?
Each pack contains 5 replacement bodies in your selected color.
How does the Large compare to the Medium and Big Game bodies?
The Large fits 3/8oz and 5/8oz jig heads — bigger than the Medium (1/8oz and 1/4oz) for more water displacement and a larger profile, but smaller than the Big Game (1oz and 1.5oz) which is built for offshore pelagics like tuna. The Large is the go-to for inshore and nearshore yellowtail and calico bass fishing.
Fresh Body, Same Proven Jig Head
Hookup Baits are hand-crafted in San Diego and built around a formula that works: shape, color, and action dialed in to trigger more bites. The Medium body is sized for inshore and nearshore fishing — calico bass around kelp, yellowtail on the iron, and any situation where a smaller, more natural profile gets more looks. When the body wears out, swap it onto your existing 1/8oz or 1/4oz jig head and you're back in the game. Five bodies per pack keeps you fishing all day.
Sized for Inshore, Built for Results
The Medium body fits 1/8oz and 1/4oz Hookup Baits jig heads — the go-to sizes for calico bass, smaller yellowtail, and inshore species where a compact profile matches the forage better than a larger body. Like all Hookup Baits products, it can be cast, jigged vertically, or trolled, giving you flexibility across techniques and conditions.
