The Phenix Abyss series rods are designed with the west coast in mind! Constructed with Toray Graphite/S-Glass composites, the Abyss series is designed for the “West Coast” style of surface irons and live bait anglers. Traditionally, rod blanks of similar actions tend to be much heavier and have a wider base diameter, which often leads to casting fatigue. The Abyss Series utilizes the ideal strength-to-weight balance, yet ensuring superior lifting power. No other rod can compare to the look, feel, and optimum performance of the Abyss series.
All Rods are packaged with extreme care!
Being fisherman ourselves we take pride in not having rods break during shipping, to ensure they'll be enjoyed and fished. We make sure every rod is wrapped tightly with bubble wrap in the crucial areas and are suspended in a thick rod tube, to keep from being crushed or banged around.
The Phenix Axis Series Spinning Rod utilizes the latest in material and design. Built with composite blends of S-glass, T-16 carbon fiber and graphite materials, while incorporating a multi-helix construction design, the Axis series is perfect for any saltwater environment.
Dynamic in performance, quality, and sensitivity, but with the backbone structure to allow you to fish with total confidence. Keeping with our thin diameter and lightweight material, we feel the new Axis rod series is what anglers and enthusiast have come to expect from Phenix Rods!

Phenix Black Diamond Spinning Rods are excellent for both inshore and offshore fishing. Black Diamond Rods incorporate a new generation of saltwater blanks. Using Toray’s high strength Carbon Fibers, the Black Diamond is created with a unique layering process and a “secret sauce” resin. This combination of aerospace technology allowed Phenix to fabricate a super strong blank that has a thinner diameter and weighs considerably less than any other series of rods in its class.
We offer the entire line of Phenix Black Diamond Rods including both the casting and spinning rods. For more detailed information please click the technical specs tab to see a rod by rod breakdown.
