It was early summer at Lake Fork. The big fish had pushed down to 20 feet, and most anglers had given up on topwater. Not Bassmaster Elite champion Takahiro Omori. Armed with a prototype of what would become the Lucky Craft Super Sammy 132, he worked the surface with patience and persistence — and was rewarded with a memorable 10 lb bass that proved this bait could pull giants up from the depths. That fish gave this lure its nickname: the Super Sammy 10LB.

The secret is the 132's large profile. At 5-1/3" and 1 oz, it displaces a serious amount of water with every side-to-side walk-the-dog motion, sending out vibrations and surface disturbance that draw bass from a greater distance than smaller topwaters can reach.
